I got VOIP 321 This devise is not connecting with skype. The phone kept showing unavailable. I can still use the VOIP 321 as a normal phone but I use more for the skype!! Please help

VOIP 321 is working with windows 7. Install the Vista Software. After that you change compatility under properties (right mouse klick) to windws vista and it works fine regards kurt

some things to consider

Have you topped up credit on skype?

dialing code correct uk +44, mobile number +447958475236 ect?

if this does not work look in your manual and reset your phone and try again

If you are using this phone with skype and you can't call out and you can't hear when someone calls out, the skype isn't configured properly to use the philips 321.

Hi, I have the same phone, I also have an ACER laptop and running vista home premium.

I needed to download the vista software package from telephonesonline (it costs for the download) but no problems after that it works great.

The only thing with this particular phone is that if you have a monthly account (skype pro) and you use your package as your regular phone you need to add every phone number you call to your contact list.

I haven't found a soloution to dial out from the phone using skype with out it being in the contacts list.

I have the same problem but what i did is to ru my XP in safe mode with networking and saw that is working ok.
after that, i just locked on which services are working on normal mode and not shown on safe mode.
found the service that was doing the problem (HP netwoking for my HP J6413 printer) and now working on some way to make it load only after the skype and the driver loaded.

It took me a while to figure out but here is how I am able to dial out from skype to a hardline to a person not in my skype contact. Simply start to dial the number (not from the talk button!!!) then instead of hitting the talk button to dial, hit the skype button on the bottom left hand side. I also have to dial 001 then the phone number. Hope this works for you too. good luck.

I had this problem.  I found that if I plugged it into my computer directly it worked.  It seems that my USB hub, which worked for everything else, was causing the unavailable error.

Using Skype 3.8.0.180

Go to Menu-Tools-Options-Advanced and give your voip321 access to skype application.

I had the same problem, solved when I allowed the skype phone to access skype.
