How can I get the steering-wheel controls on my Nissan to answer/hang up bluetooth-connected phone instead of pressing the touchscreen?

2014 Nissan Murano and Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.I fixed it once (something about allowing my bluetooth device to control my phone), but I can't remember if it was a phone setting or a car setting, and I cannot find the option again.

Make sure both devices are "paired" try clearing all paired devices on the phone first. Then search for devices again. Male sure the car radio is on so your phone can see the powered up device it's looking for.

2014 Nissan Altima. How to unmute audio for Bluetooth please?

The 2015 Nissan Altima does not have a mute button for the Audio system. To unmute the Audio system You will have to turn the volume knob clockwise. If this does not fix the problems with the Audio in the vehicle You can try and attempt a full reset of the radio in Your car. To do this You will turn the ignition key to the "on" position and turn Your radio on, wait ten seconds and then turn Your radio off. Depress the radio power button again and wait for reset. Alternatively, enter Your dealer provided radio code to reset. You can also check to see if You had a call and if You did not press the "call hang up" button on the steering wheel while not on a call it could mute the radio so press it again to un mute it.

Turn On Smartphone Bluetooth®: Go to settings, select Bluetooth, and make sure it’s turned on.
Activate Bluetooth® on the Entune™ Multimedia System: Press SETUP on the multimedia system faceplate, select Bluetooth, then select Add to add the smartphone.
Select Your Toyota on Your Smartphone: You can now select your vehicle in your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings. You may need to enter the provided Bluetooth® PIN.

Why Take Advantage of Toyota Bluetooth Pairing?
Bluetooth helps you take full advantage of your phone’s most important functions while you’re on the road by offering the following features:

Hands-Free Calling: All you need to do is press the voice command button on your steering wheel to make hands-free calls, so you don’t have to take your hands off the wheel.
Access Phonebook: Use your Toyota’s touchscreen display to browse through contacts and place calls. If you have their address saved, you can navigate there without inputting it manually.
Music Streaming: If your smartphone has an MP3/WMA player, you can stream audio directly through your vehicle’s speakers. There’s no need for wires, and you can play from either online sources or downloaded music.

My Parrot v5.25c tells me the memory is full when trying to connect to my Galaxy S3

Hey everyone,
I have had the same issue with my VW Polo Comfortline 2012, trying to connect the Parrot v5,25C to a iPhone 4S.
I turned the ignition on and my phone Bluetooth together. I then hit the volume(-) button first then the volume(+) on the steering wheel, this has to be done in sequence - then + about 5/6 times. The car kit then said phone memory being erased and BOOM ready to pair again :-)

Its all up and running now with the pass code 1234 entered on the phone for activation.
I hope this helps!!

I have Blackberry Bold and a 2012 Cadillac SRX The

Probably a Bluetooth compatibility problem. Just because they paired doesn't mean the drivers in both devices are currently compatible (one of them may have been updated without you knowing). You will have to dig deeper and determine what the current Bluetooth versions are on each and then check compatibility.

2008 eos radio with no directions

I am a EOS owner with a multifunction steering wheel.
I hope the following is helpful to you.
you have 4 buttons on the left and four on the right of your steering wheel.

left side
top and bottom left, volume up and down
top right (star) is the radio mute.
bottom right on the left side is the telephone button.

right side
top left on right side is the computer changer it has lines on it.
this changes the screen to setting, radio, telephone etc.
botton left is (ok) enter button
top right is the menu select up
bottom right is the menu select down to move up and down the menues
view outputs on the small screen between the rev counter and speed gauge.

Setting up phone
for phone use you will need a cradle for your phone which fits into the phone holder on your dash. it must be the exact one for the phone you have eg nokia E51if your phone has bluetooth, plug in your phone into the cradle and lock it in. set your phone to have bluetooth on, and start search for new bluetooth device. then with the car ignition on, press the left of the two buttons on the phone cradle and within 5 seconds the right one, what should happen now is the phone should show it has found a new device. select the device on your phone and when asked put in the code 0000 zero zero zero zero. press OK on your phone, this will allow your phone to be connected to the car via bluetooth connection.

using your phone, you can make calls, and hear the other end through your car loudspeakers, your microphone is integrated into the light panel by the rearview mirror. when have a call this it will mute the radio and you can control the volume of the call with the volume control on the steering wheel and end or answer calls with the phone button on your steering wheel. for phones without bluetooth the connection is made when the phone is placed in the cradle.

for other function press the top left button on the right side, this will scroll the different options, convienence options can only be changed when the car is stationary. audio is for the radio, using the far right buttons you can change channels with this and select with the OK button.

for a new manual ask at a breakers yard if they have a eos in maybe they have the user manual with it. or ask a car rental if they offer EOS and ask if you could photocopy the part of the manual you do not have.
i would send you mine but it is in German.
