hi, i had the same problem after reseting , you need to reinstall the firmware , but that is complicated task to do. i suggest you search for technical support
Paper jam errors can also be caused by worn pickup rollers. When the printer tries to print a page and the rollers can not grab a sheet of paper to feed into the printer the printer will think there is a jam and display the same error. Pull out the paper drawer all the way and reach inside the top of the opening and you should find the pickup rollers. They should feed rough not smooth. If they do feel smooth then they will need to be replaced by a Canon repair center.

That is hardware error, if you have 1.2 or earlier firmware it can be a system bug that you fix updating firmware. Call Canon to get instructions on how to update firmware.
