SOURCE: Canon Pixma MP500 error

ok I figured out what to do. Open the over take out all your ink cartriages. Then flip the print head level on the left hand side up and squeeze the top of the print head (where all your ink sits on) and lift it up. You may want to blow off any dust that may be in there and put the peint head back and replace al your ink put the level down and you should be good to go if not you may have to replace the head.

SOURCE: Lexmark X1100 Series won't print in colour after cartridge refill

I have refilled my cartride many times. Sometimes the colour has not worked so I found that if I put the lower end in hot water and made sure all 3 colours came out in the water the printing then worked. It simply was clogged after refilling.

SOURCE: Will the canon pixma mp240 continue to print

you need to have both cartridges somewhat full to run, there is a initialization routine that the printer goes thru and if you don't have good cartridges with ink it won't let you print.

I changed the ink cartridges, and now it won't print, it prints manually but not from the computer, it says there is no ink but the cartridges are new

You most likely are using aftermarket or refilled cartridges. These will normally not register as full. Here is a link to a procedure that should solve issue. Watch the video and follow the instructions....

Canon PIXMA MP140 can't recognize the cartridge even though the ink tank is full

Make sure the cartridge is seated properly. Clean printer heads when installing according to instructions. Don't cut corners and just try and print, so through all the steps. Sometimes just turning your printer off and then back on helps too. Sounds like it doesn't know it has a new cartridge.
