Stick the SD card inside your computer, if your computer does not have the hook up for it, Radio shack or Best buy can help you with that. Then you can save the files on your computer, then re-down load them back on your dp 004. But if your card is reading error then maybe you would have problems trying to move them your computer too. Unplug the unit for 10 minutes, then plug it in and try again. I just had the same problem after our main power went off and on a few times (during a storm). If that didn't work and you don't plan on servicing it, before you "recycle" it, unplug it & drop it from about 3 to 4 inches from the "carpet". It may just have some crude stopping up the mechanism. Continue to increase the height of the drop untill you REALLY do have to recycle it :)
Soon after I posted the problem on this site, I went to different margin setting windows and they all appeared correct. I tried another test page and noticed the printer was off. I turned it back on and it worked perfectly. I had previously unplugged the power and cable and rebooted the system several times to no avail. I also have an HP Officejet 7410 All-In-One so I didn't need the other for everyday operations, just preferred it.
I contact Toshiba Service and they suggest to unplugg AC cord then wait for 3 minutes but this is not a real solution ("Bad" message). I already notice other Toshiba models have the same problems (SD-K750 & SD-3980), and they are replaced them because of component part failure. (my DVD is a SD-K850).
They also explain that if that process not work, I must call their
Service Dept. for more details, same phone # (1-800-631-3811).
this can normaly be solved by going into the printer preferences and then setting the trays manualy in the software. otherwise the printer will automaticaly select the main tray first then move onto the mp tray. sorry if it sounds a bit vague but these options change from printer to printer and have not seen a k850 for a while
Hope thyis helps
