Have had an arlec boston 2 ceiling fan installed, but fan would not work just had 2 beeps.
I found it was the dome that hides the wiring etc must have had pressure on the motor connection plug. So undo this dome and try it to see if this is the problem. I just move the connection, simple as that
Pull rope repair kits can be had at stores that sell lawnmowers. The cover for the rope may be pop riveted on. If you're lucky there will be bolts. If rivets are present then you'll need a pop rivet tool and properly sized pop rivets to complete the job. Instructions come with the replacement rope kit. If you don't want to mess with fuel or fuel/oil mixing, you might look into an electric mower. They come corded and cordless.
-If you need only the rope, you don't need the series number. Just go to Lowe or Home depot and buy 1/8" Dia at 4 feet. Unless you need the whole assembly kit. If so go to where you get it from.
