SOURCE: Alarm keeps going off at night
I don't know the exact reason, but my dad had a problem similar to yours. He got a device from Ace Hardware (it was a decoding mechanism I believe) that you hook up to your car (on his car, which was an Oldsmobile, it was on the left interior of the driver's side door rite up by the steering wheel area) for only about $15-$20 because his engine light was always going off for no reason. Yours may have something to do with a faulty wire somewhere along where the alarm is, though. The decoder doesn't exactly let you know precisely what the problem is though (I believe it has a manual though), and my dad is a mechanic, so be careful before you try anything yourself, as you may do more harm than good. Good luck.

Try setting the recirculation option on the AC control to recirculate.
Somtimes when set it to fresh air it lets moisture in from outside even when the car is not running.
It's a long shot but I bet it works. Lone99star

Was browsing the ford f-150 forum and found that Ford has a lot of issues with it's AC, some too hot and some like yours, way to cold. At MAX it should read around 42. Best 2 solutions I've found are:
Here's a pic of what the Blend door/Motor look like and instructions on how to replace it. Wish you the best of luck.

sound like high pressure switch going out,,, if you replace it ,, you have to replace the gas,, but will cause it to cut off when high pressure hits,, and work again when cooled off

Ford had a recall/ extended coverage on the fuel pumps in the focus vehicles. Do you know if this was done? If not call a ford dealer with your Vehicle identification number (located in drivers door jam or on registration) and they can let you know if it was done. The concern with the fuel pumps was that they would stop working when they got hot. The replacement pumps were free. It can't hurt to call and ask.
