I'm having the same problem. I came across a few sites which suggesting "formatting" the memory card either in a computer or camera or similar device. I also came across another site which gave the key sequence to check current memory usage. Of course, I can find neither at this time. I was successful in formatting my card with a digital camera but now I'm right back here with you:( I don't know if that cured the problem because I'm not seeing the error message right now but I guess I'll find out in a couple of hours when everyone else wakes up and starts lighting up my phone. If I come across any other links during my search, I'll post them here.

My problem deals with a Samsung Blackjact i607 phone. I had a 1GB card working in it, but when I tried to replace that card with a 2GB card, now nothing works. I followed some other directions I read and deleted the 'Storage Card' in File Explorer and now it won't recognize anything. I even went so far as to hard reset with format and it still doesn't recognize a storage card, even when I put the 1GB card back in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I keep getting a full storage error for my phone even though I moved every possible file over to my 2 GB storage card. I also deleted all unwanted text messages and emails. There should be a mile of memory free. WHAT is the problem with this phone? I have had it for over a year now. I have had a lot more stuff on the phone prior to me getting the memory card and there were no "full storage" errors. What can I do to check that the phone memory is cleared of deleted items?

Ok this might work I cannot guarantee it. first back up all of your data onto your computer. After that turn off your phone. then first hold the up button then at the same time hold hold down the power button and you should get to format mode press 1 and it will automatically format it. then it should boot up normally. put the memory card in see if it works and put all of your data back on your phone. hpe this helps with your problems

My black jack 2 continues to give me a low storage message

the message means about your internal storage capacity which will be in terms of only MB's!!!!!
change the default settings to store all your contacts, text messages, pictures and videos to your memory card and also move any files from the internal memory to memory card..this will free up the space!!

Messages deleted when phone is turned off

You must have cleared photos and videos. however, many people do not realize that an accidental audio recording can use up all the disc space. So check for extra large audio files.

I think it is because

a) Internet Explorer memory is taking up too much space
b) Google Maps cache is taking up too much space
c) or the Volatile folder is taking up too much space...I have found three other people that say whack the contents of this folder....no naysayers just yet...

Clear your IE Cache. Go to IE, menu, options, memory and clear all that junk too.
