SOURCE: Ge wall oven blinking door locked for days

The switch inside the door lock mechanism is stuck down making the unit think it is still locked.  the switched is located next to the hook that locks your door.

i would try to set fro a clen clycle again, it should try to relock the door and then simply cancel cycle and should reset. or try turning off breaker, upon restoring power it should check the door latch mechinism and unlock

My oven door stays locked , when I press the clear button I get F1?
I hold the clear button for a few seconds and still nothing.

SOURCE: Oven locked so I can't shut door/operate oven

Thanks a million, solved the problem like a charm. For those that can't find it, it is on the left side orf the OVEN, not the stove. Once you open the door, you'll find it on the frame's upper left side corner, can't miss it. Good luck

Hi Steve, from what you're describing,it sounds like you've got a bad door lock motor. It should have 2 check switches on the assembly. If one or both of those switches are bad,the control will not read the lock as being engaged so it will not allow the cleaning cycle to start. To get the oven door open you need to pull the locking hook over to the right with a coat hanger. To access the lock assembly you have to get under the top. It's a pain in the rear end but it is doable. Hope that helps and good luck.

Door locked wont self clean
Turn off breaker for minute or so if no contact repair man mcro switch bad or out of position. Did he try to pull door right after candle. The motor takes time to clear the hook from the latch. If so he probly bent some thing in the mech that latches the door or on the switch plate that holds the micro switch

Oven light on display says door and now wont heat
The oven will not turn on the heat because it thinks the door is still open. It thinks the door is open because it has a sensor that gets pressed by the door when it closes (look around edges of oven that get covered when door closes) this sensor is wet, dirty or broken so when you close the door the sensor still says its open. Did you clean around the door with a wet cleaning fluid?

Decor double oven - Door adjustment
Unfortunately yhe door hinges are non adjustable.
The only solution is to replace the hinges as a pair.

Cycling the power off and then on again will sometimes reset it...often you will have to call the customer service number to get the steps to take to unlock that...

RGV2-485GDN - DCS Fisher Paykel gas oven on range will not reach high temperature Hi there, I would love to get a service manual for this range. I am relatively competent with appliances but I am stumped on this one. The basic problem is the oven will not hit a high temperature when it is called for. The igniter will go on and off but not stay on to trigger the gas to flow. The knobs on these indicate white when they are supposed to be heating and this does that but stays there. Here is what I have done. I replaced the igniter with new Fisher Paykel parts. I put in a new dual gas valve. I swapped the circuit board from the small oven side that was working to the large oven side. I did not see a cut off or cut out switch located on the parts manual. I don't understand why it won't get to temperature. Generally it will work fine around 350 f. But not reach 450 f. Any ideas what I might be missing? Thanks for anyones time. Matt
