Your refrigerant may have completely separated in the system. Shut of the gas, disconnect the electrical and remove refrigerator from the coach or if you have sufficient room inside set it on a clean area. This operation is what is called burping the system.
1. From the base roll it onto the door and wait five minutes.
2. roll it onto the top and wait five minutes.
3. Roll it on the back and wait five minutes.
4. Return it to the base and wait five minutes.

Reinstall it or test it on electrical. It should show signs of cooling in about 30 minutes in the freezer compartment if the system is not plugged in the boiler.

SOURCE: Dometic RV refrig light will not go out

Open up the door to the freezer, you will see two black switches upper right just above where the door would be when closed. Flip the first switch, then push the switch on the light in the fridge compartment and the light should go out. Thinking that switch is there to help reduce moisture inside fridge, just got pushed by mistake and light remains on. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 3 way caravan fridge wont

I suspect it's either the 240V heater element or the 240V thermostat which has failed. You can test the element by identifying the wires to it and performing a resistance check. The heating element is in the metal stack in the rear of the unit. Use an OHM meter and check for resistance, the higher the better, low or no resistance means the elemnt is bad. Make sure you check all the fuses on the control board also.

Ian - are you pushing the igniter button rapidly while holding the gas supply button in? This works for us. If you have any fluid in the gas line it will not light; you would need to get this checked out. Access is through the bottom outside vent. Good luck.

My dometic refrigator stopped working but it works good on propane not electric

May just need new heating element. Need to check for 120VAC, coming from connectors on circuit board to element, if yes, change element.
Make sure it's on AC operation, and calling for heat, you may have to leave door open on fridge, just to make sure it's calling for heat, or try on gas, if it lights, then you know it's calling for heat, then switch to AC operation and check for the proper voltage to element. If you need more instructions, let me know.

Temperature does play a big part in the efficiency of the fridge. The condenser at the back of the fridge needs cool air flow to allow gas vapour to be converted back into a liquid.again.
