I have a ballys mr &ms pacman pinball machine and the sound works sparaticly , will come on random and work fine for 5 mins or so then just cuts out for 10 to 20 min nothing i do will make it come back...

I have a eralier 80's upright Bally's Pac Man arcade machine that I got off a freind of mine. They said that they palyed it all the time up to about a year ago. I got it home set it up and pluged it in... and nothing happens. I've hit the start buttom on the inside and the new game button but still nothing... Is there something else that I may need to check?

BOWLING =POKER, FOR 68 YEARS.) IF YOU HAVE NOT SOLVED YOU PROBLEM, I ASSUME IT IS ELECTRONIC, NOT MECHANICAL. IF MECHANICAL , LET ME KNOW, I WILL TELL YOU WHAT TO DO.
ON THE ELECTRONIC, OR ELECTRIC (NO COMPUTER)
THERE IS A BAR MOVES ON TO THE CAM ON TOP OF THE CATCH, ABOUT 3 INCHES ABOVE THE BOLT THAT HOLDS THE ARM IN PLACE, WHEN A COIN IS INSERTED INTO THE COIN SHOOT, THAT METAL BAR ENGAGES THE RATCHET , TO SPIN THE WHEELS. DOES THAT HAPPEN ON YOUR SLOT.? OPEN THE DOOR PULL THE WHITE SWITCH THAT CLOSE WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED (OUT) THESE ARE A THREE POSITION SWITCH.
