You will have to contact Honeywell to see what the procedure is to unlock a tstat when the pin is lost. If you still have the book their customer service number should be in the book if not you can get their # on line

Push the System button, then in the bottom row of empty buttons, press the middle buttton for 4 seconds. The display will change, showing system codes on left and that code's setting on the right.
Choose 670, and option 0 opens it up completely, option 1 locks it partially. You should not try to override settings the HVAC/Building admin has set for you, in case you are trying to defeat their control.

Where is the thermostat in relation to the return? Is there air flow or is the air stagnant in the area of the thermostat. Have you placed a thermometer in varios locations where the thermostat is located? Try these locations and see if the thermostat needs to be placed in a location better able to reflect room temperature. Also how long have you lived in the house? If it is a newer home I suggest that you contact the builder or the air conditioner/heater installer to see if they have a schematic of the placement of the thermostats.

ITS LOCKED AT 75 DEGREES AND DONT KNOW HOW TO UNLOCK

Remove the thermostatfrom its base and replace the batteries. To remove the thermostat, grasp it atthe edges and pull toward you. The batteries are on the back of the thermostathousing. If this doesn't unlock the touch screen, continue to the next step. Check that the furnace'sfuse is not blown or that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Replace a blownfuse or reset a tripped circuit breaker, and try the thermostat again. Press the"Screen" button on the touch screen, then wait for 30 seconds andpress "Done." In many cases, this will unlock the screen and thethermostat will be ready for normal use. Wait five minutes for thecompressor timer to reset if "Wait" is displayed on the screen. Thenoperate the system normally.

My thermostat is not working. It might be locked. It's blinking with all of the information it holds flashing on the screen. The part number is: tstatccnhp01-c My heat is no longer working. Can you...

Instructions
  1. 1 Unlock a partially locked screen by pressing any locked key, which will bring up the "Screen Locked" message. Next press an unlocked key, which will likely be the temperature up and down arrow keys. This will unlock the screen.
  2. 2 Press the "System" key from the home screen. Five blank touch keys, flanked by the "Done" and "Cancel" keys, will appear. Hold down the middle key for about five seconds. The Advanced Settings menu should come up.
  3. 3 Change the User Setup Number, found in the bottom left of the screen, by pressing the middle arrow keys up or down. Set the number to "0670," the universal unlock code.
  4. 4 Turn to the arrow keys on the right side of the screen. Press the keys up or down to change your options. Selecting the number "0" will unlock the screen, while choosing "1" will partially lock it. You can fully lock your screen again by selecting.

Here is a simple way to tell. Remove your thermostat from it's mounting plate, locate the wiring, the red and white are low voltage control wires. Disconnect them from the base and join the two together if the furnace runs you need a thermostat if not it is in the controls to the furnace.

TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT

I had the same problem...and I accidentally discovered the solution...

One thing you have to remember is that the temperature that is shown on the screen is actually the room temperature and not the "wind" temperature.

To set the "wind" temperature, press the "m" button (aka temp/timer) once...it should show a flashing thermostat and the temperature screen changes to show the default "wind" temperature (it's 74 degrees)...

Next use the "down" button to the right of the screen to reduce the wind temperature to the desired temperature and that's all you have to do. IMPORTANT: if you wish to increase or decrease the temperature of the "wind" you just use the "up" or "down" button; DO NOT HIT "m" again since if you hit "m" again, it will cycle through the "timer" and then "temp" again, and it will reset the "wind" temperature to the default 74 degrees.
