Try Google.. i don't think the slow cooker cares if the meat is smoked or not.
if you're still struggling, try Google "pork" "cooking times" "temperature" "slow cooker" in various combinations.

SOURCE: no instruction for slow cooker

Difficult to say, obviously it depends on the brand and model of the slow cooker, because wattages vary. I would suggest checking out the website for the manuafacturer or calling their Customer Care Center to obtain a copy of the Owners manual if you don't already have one.

SOURCE: does the wolfgang puck slow

The wolfgang puck slow cooker uses duel heating elements one on the bottom and also around the sides. The temperature is controlled by the user. I would double check the setting you had this on, but I believe that the better quality cooker simply does a better job than most of the cheaper store models and therfore you get better results. this cooker also automatically goes to low mode when the food is done, did yours switch to the low mode, or did it stay on high? To answer your question, the cooker does not intentionally cook at higher temps, but the compitition just doesn't match up to the quality in this unit. I have read many testomonies from many happy customers about the quality and ease of operation and the cooking abilities of this machine. It just may be that you wil have to get accustom to the way this cooker works.
I hope this helped and if you have any more questions about this I would be happy to try and answer them for you.

What temperature does the Ultrex slow cooker cook at on high or low?

Have you used it before or is it new? Slow cookers vary when it comes to cooking on low or high. If you never used it before, I suggest that you find a slow cooker recipe that cooks slow 10-12 hours and see how that works.

Della 12 Quart 1600-Watt Electric Pressure Cooker Multi-Functional Timer Slow Cook XL Part number: 048-GM-48261 Unable to get this cooker to slow cook.

it is possible that you have misunderstood the instructions
for a slow cooker you have low medium and high
press slow cook and on low and in 8 hours the food is cooked
I see from your statements that you expect the cooker to be set on slow cook but cook at a high temperature fast
if it says slow cook --9 hours and the temp is 125 degrees , have you waited 9 hours to see if it is cooked as the slow cooking process is by the gradual build up of heat in the container that is not expelled by radiation to the air
in a pressure cooker , that build up of heat also builds up pressure and so it cooks better
other solution--- if it is not right return it for a warranty refund or if out of warranty , junk it and get a different make

How to use the slow cooker on the oval cooks essential pressure cooker

I have a Tricity TSC09 6 litre Slow Cooker and I just love it its so handy, if your gone for even 10 hours it keeps your dinner warm after the cooking time runs out. I smashed the lid and was so gutted I tried for hours online to find a replacement lid with no luck. I went shopping and bought a very cheap 6 to 7 Quart or 6 to 6.5 litre Slow cooker / Crock pot of the same shape the removable pot and lid fit. I bought a cookworks, signature, 24 euro 6.5 litre oval dog standard slow cooker and the lid fit, now I also have a removable pot replacement as well just in case I smash that too. So happy I have my Slow cooker back again.

I pushed the cook time button but it still says zero what do I do

Hit the on/off button, so that the cooker looks like it is off, then hit the cook time button up the the number of hours you need to cook. This slow cooker has three settings: LOW, HIGH and WARM..... When your corningware slow cooker is initially plugged into a wall outlet, the display will show "0". This display indicates the programmed number of hours for which ameal will cook. The slow cooker can be programed in one hour increments from 1 to 10 on your digital display. The number of hours may be selected by pushing the COOK TIME button until the desired cooking time appears. If 1,2,3,4,5, or 6 hours are selected, then the slow cooker will operate on the high setting. If 7,8,9, or 10 hours are selected then the slow cooker will operate on the low setting. To start the cooking cycle press the ON/OFF button. To interrupt the cooking cycle at anytime, press the ON/OFF button. If the ON/OFF button is pressed when the digital display shows "0", then the slow cooker will automatically start on the warm setting.

My bravettii slow cooker would not cook baked beans they cooked for 18 hrs total 6 hrs was on high and 12 hrs was on low and the beans are still not fully cooked it never came to a boil is there...

Hello,
I can't solve your problem but I can sure relate. I am having the same problem with my Bravetti Pro (it's far from Pro - it should be called Bravetti Amateur) I tried cooking a small ham with cut up potatoes recently, and after 11 hours cooking at the medium setting, the potatoes were not cooked. I got this thing as a gift about a year ago, and although I've only used it a few times, it never seems to cook properly. Mine was purchased at Canadian Tire and although I don't have a receipt, I think I'll try to take it back. Good luck with yours!

Slow cooker will only stay on warm. How do I put

This slow cooker has 3 settings LOW, HIGH, & WARM
When you plug the slow cooker in the display should show a "0". When you press the "COOK TIME" button, the display should go to 1 then 2 then 3 etc. each time the "COOK TIME" button is pressed. If 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 hours are selected, then the slow cooker will operate on the "HIGH" setting. If 7,8,9, or 10 hours are selected, then the slow cooker will operate on the "LOW" setting. To start the cooking cycle press the "ON/OFF" button. To interrupt the cooking cycle at any time, press the "ON/OFF" button. When the cooking cycle is complete, your slow cooker will automatically switch to the "WARM" setting. If the "ON/OFF" button is pressed when the the digital display shows "0", then the slow cooker will automatically start on the "WARM" setting.
If the "COOK TIME" button does not change the display numbers then unplug the slow cooker and hold both buttons down as you plug the slow cooker in. Keep the buttons pressed for a count of ten, then release them and the slow cooker should work correctly

If the slow cooker will not change the display from 0 to 1 to 2 to 3 etc. when you press the "COOK TIME" button, then unplug the slow cooker. Hold both the COOK TIME and the ON/OFF buttons down and plug the slow cooker into the wall. Keep both buttons held in for a count of 10 then release them. The slow cooker should work correctly now.

How do I start the cooker on low?

The manual says "When your corningware slow cooker is initially plugged into a wall outlet, the display will show"0". This display indicates the programmed number of hours for which a meal will cook.

The slow cooker can be programmed in one hour increments from 1 to 10 on your digital display. The number of hours may be selected by pushing the COOK TIME button until the desired cooking time appears.

If 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 hours are selected, then the slow cooker will operate on HIGH setting. If 7,8,9 or 10 hours are selected, then the slow cooker will operate on the low setting.

To start the cooking cycle press the ON/OFF button. To interrupt the cooking cycle at anytime, press the ON/OFF button. If the ON/OFF button is pressed when the digital display shows "0", then the slow cooker will automatically start on the WARM setting.

When the full cooking cycle is complete, your corningware slow cooker will automatically switch to the warm setting, to keep food at a warm serving temperature."

If, after you plug the slow cooker into the outlet, the COOK TIME button does not work, unplug the cooker, hold both ON/OFF and COOK TIME buttons down, plug into wall socket and wait till the display flashes. Release both buttons and the slow cooker buttons should both work.
