The password and router logon should be listed on a label on the back of the router.. IF it is not then you need to figure out what the address is to connect to it with a browser or a setup disk. The ISP should have all the info that you need to do this.

SOURCE: Will resetting the factory default settings allow

the manual can be found here. for all sony game systems.

http://us.playstation.com/support/manuals/index.htm

you would need to reset to factory default setting for the exact problem you are having -- forgetting the password. so your question is "YES".

The Restore Default Settings feature will erase any previously saved settings and restore all of the settings to the default.

  1. From the XMB™ home menu, go to icn_settings.gif (Settings) > icn_systmsetting.gif (System Settings) > [Restore Default Settings].

  2. The message "Do you want to restore the default settings?" should appear. Select "Yes" and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

  3. You will then see a message, "All settings will be returned to default settings. Are you sure you want to continue?" Select "Yes" and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

  4. All settings are now restored and the system password is reset to "0000".

  5. Press the icn_btnx_color.gif button to restart the system.

  6. Re-enter system settings as appropriate.

What is the password for a belkin router F9K1123v2

If you are asking what the default credentials are to log into the admin panel of the router, then the options are below.

Default usernames: admin, Admin, [blank]
Default passwords: admin, password, [blank]

If you are asking for the Wi-Fi password, that is unique to the user who initially set it up. You can reset the router but following the manufacturer instructions and holding the reset button down in the back. This will erase all settings on the router.

Hmm

Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. If it does not work you may need to google what your specific model's default IP address/default username/default passwords are, for example search for "Encore ENHWI-2AN3 default IP address" The default login info can change, it can depend on where you obtained your router. If you purchased it yourself from a store then the standard defaults should work. If you obtained your router from your Internet Provider you may need to contact your service provider. It also may depend whether it's an old or new model router as well. And you may need to press and hold the reset button on your router several times before it actually clears. Make sure you have a wired connection then once you have accessed your router simply run the Setup Wizard. Set your SSID as something you'll remember like "Mavericks Network" and your Password can be something like your phone number for example 3109876543

Belkin - Username: Leave the field blank Password: Leave the field blank Default IP address is: 192.168.2.1

Buffalo - Username: root Password: Leave the field blank Default IP address is: 192.168.11.1

D-Link - Username: admin Password: Leave the field blank Default IP address is: 192.168.0.1

Encore - Username: admin Password: admin Default IP address 192.168.1.1

Linksys - Username: admin Password: admin Default IP address 192.168.1.1

NetGear - Username: admin Password: password Default IP address will be: 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

TrendNet - Username: admin Password: admin Default IP address 192.168.10.1

Ant get a network --lost password

If you forgot the password, resetting the router will allow you to access the router's configuration screen again. However, this will reset the router to the factory default settings default, and you will have to reconfigure the router.

Instructions for the router:

http://www.belkin.com/PDF/F7D1301_Basic_Router.pdf

From page 12: Reset Button on the back of the router.
This button is used to restart your Router in rare cases when it functions incorrectly. Resetting the Router will preserve your settings. This button may also be used to restore the factory default settings. Please see the Troubleshooting section (page 15) for more information.

Hi, I am not sure if this is my problem but there seems to be a problem with the network key on my laptop. We are using a belkin N150 router and in the last 3 months or so have been having problems getting...

I think resetting the router to the factory defaults may fix the issue. Generally, after resetting to defaults, the router works fine, however, you have to setup security key etc.
First, to reset the router to factory default setting, press and hold the reset button for few seconds (It is at the back of the router). The LEDs will then blink and the routers factory settings wouls be restored.

Please note that after RESETTING THE ROUTER to defaults, ALL SETTINGS WILL BE LOST AND YOU HAVE TO RECONFIGURE IT. Generally, after hard reset you get the connectivity, however, you have to make the connection secure etc.
Please, refer the product guide/manual and make configurations as per the details provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

GoodLuck!
Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

I changed my router wep key password code and now I cannot connect to the internet; how do I fix this problem? It does not recognize the connection now and I cannot go back in to change it back to the...

This is how you reset your router.....

Reset the router to factory default With the router powered on, use a small thin object to press and hold the reset button for exactly seven seconds. The router lights will flash and this will restore the router to factory default. Connect your computer to one of the routers lan ports with an etherent cable. Open your web browser and navigate to 192.168.2.1. This should show the router status page with the default settings.

How to setup new router:
  • 1 Connect your computer directly to your cable or DSL modem. If you see a log-in screen for your Internet Service Provider, make a note of the user name and password.
  • 2 Unplug your router and your cable or DSL modem.
  • 3 Plug your modem to your Belkin router's "WAN" port. Connect your computer to one of your Belkin router's numbered ports.
  • 4 Turn on in your modem and wait 10 seconds. Plug in your router and restart your computer.
  • 5 Select "Start," then "Control Panel" and then "Network Connections." Right-click "Local Area Connection" to bring up your network connection properties.
  • 6 Click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)," then "Obtain an IP Address Automatically" and then "Obtain DNS Server Addresses Automatically."
  • 7 Open your web browser. If you are prompted for a user name and password, enter the information you recorded in Step 1.
