Ryobi Generator RG 2700 MANUAL DOWNLOAD Google Search
SOURCE: A friend living in the country bought a Ryobi
It's best to run all electronics through a UPS and surge protector. Small generators like the RG-950 are really for small power tools and lighting. The Ryobi RG-950 is only rated 650 watts which really means about 450 watts (70%) for continuous use. In general, a basic desktop or a laptop should be OK. A TV up to 25 inches and a 100w lamp, should be OK. If you try doing both at the same time, expect smoke followed by lights out. A UPS and Surge Protector are a must on small generators due to their poor voltage and frequency regulation. The UPS should be a good quality one that deals with Brownout, Overvoltage, and frequency deviation. ALWAYS USE A SURGE PROTECTOR!

The RG-6900 Ryobi generator does not have (or need) a battery. It is a manual type with cord start. Voltages and specifications may differ slightly depending on which country the unit is intended for (110V vs 220V). The same applies to warranty and servicing agents.

SOURCE: I have a Ryobi RG6900 Generator, how do i connect it from the generator to the distribution board.
I use a COBRA. It is a lead with a plug at either end. Plug one end into the generator (output) and the other into any household plug outlet. (Set to the ON position)
Before doing so ensure that no outside power can enter through your DB board (switch the Mains Switch to the "off" position) Also switch off (at the DB board) any circuits that may cause a demand of more than 21 Amps (Stove, Geyser, Swimming Pool Pump etc)
Start the 6900 and wha-la you have power to all circuits not switched off at the DB Board.
I typically leave the light circuits, one of the plug circuits (to run the TV, Decoder etc) Security Circuit, and Garage Door opener switched on.
When mains power returns First stop & disconnect the 6900, remove the COBRA and then switch on the Mains and other circuits.
