The controller most likely needs to be re-calibrated.
We had the same problem and called the company, who reset the travel and stop settings.
Apparently this can happen if the gate / gearing assembly goes 'off-track' and skips some teeth.
So call a tech who's qualified in this model, or
go to the website for this MM560, and download the manual.
My two cent's worth, anyway. :)

open the gate and then loosen of one cam and adjust it off the micro switch until the gate is fully open

New FM502 Dual gate opener pressed remote which starts the second gate opening then the master moves a few inches stops. Hear 3 beeps 2 seconds 3-. .Conections are good to circuit board! What up!
reprogram the opening sequence in the control box
it should that the first gate opens then the second gate opens a few seconds behind it
closing is the reverse
you can program that only one gate opens
you can also program that one gate is a entrance gate where it opens until you stop it , then when you have passed through , press it again and it closes
read the operating instructions and follow the programming procedures closely

What could be wrong? Our Gemini gate motor works well for some time, but then all of a sudden just go backwards when it should close the gate. It just revers with each attempt to let it go forward till at...
You could have dirty photo cells or some obstruction that the photocells are picking up that triggers the safety mechanism to reopen the gate so that no one gets hurt.

Extreme weather conditions (heat and cold) can damage the electronics in the photo cells too.

Are the batteries low on the transmitter?

Typically, photo cells are (or should be) wired to the control board so that it will stop the gate or barrier during the closing cycle should there be a problem- and should fully open again- just like on automatic garage door openers; it's the exact same principal.

Open gate and find where the wiring enters the gate (bottom of door) pull back the rubber insulator and check for broken wires or wires touching each other.

Hi there. The symptoms you describe as well as the error indication (4 flashes) certainly do seem to indicate an obstruction. Try disengaging the gate, moving it back and fourth and feeling whether it sticks at any particular point. Possible causes could be: dirt or stones on the rail, bad rack joints, missing teeth in the rack, worn wheels or guide-rollers or a damaged rail. You can also try decreasing the collision sensitivity (I can send you an email with the info if you like), but please be advised that this makes the gate less sensitive to an obstruction and could pose a risk. How old is the motor, if I may ask?

Please follow the below steps to undo Tab in IE8

To Reopen Closed Tabs in IE8 with Keyboard Shortcut

Press Ctrl + Shift + T keyboard shortcut will reopen the last closed tab. Press the same keyboard shortcut sequence again will open another tab that was closed prior before the previously opened tab. Ctrl + Shift + T supports restoration of up to last 10 tabs that are closed during the browsing session.

To Restore Closed Tabs in IE8 in New Tab Page

If may be easier to be able to browse and select which already closed tabs that user wants to reopen. IE8 provides such as option to reopen one or more closed tabs too, in "New Tab" page, which also displays complete web page titles of the closed tabs.

Can create shortcut on Vaio Gate
hey just bought a sony and had the same prob, after looking its not to hard, just a quick edit to an .xml.

open the folder %AppData%\Sony Corporation\VAIO Gate and locate the file called VAIO Gate.xml.

Make a copy of this file so if you go wrong you can always restore the ori and start again.

Right click on it and click edit which should open the file in notepad.

Now copy the code i will paste after this, on a new line below into the doc after you find the first </Item>

n.b follow this word for word otherwise it wont work.
everything in between the *need to be replaced with what it tells you. when you have replaced the hints removed the star. When you finish there should be no stars in your code.

This is the code to pase in after the first </Item>

thats it save the file, close the gate and reopen it and if you will see the new icons. You can then drag to arrange where you want them in the line.

I have an elite roboswing and it has operated just fine for 2 yrs but the other day my car was going through and when a second car went through it went to close but reopened and now does not close.
check the reset button on back of motor or check power and make sure your getting the correct voltage.
