While turning left my daughter's 2013 Kia Soul makes a clicking noise. Checked C,V and it is okay. Suspenion is okay. Nothing is loose or broken. Any ideas?

This is a classic CV joint noise, you say you checked it, you mean you pulled the joint out and looked at it for wear on the ball bearings and guides then?

My starter make this grinding noise when i crank it

Usually, this means you have a worn gear on the starter, the starter is loosely mounted, the starter solenoid is malfunctioning, or the flywheel has a worn spot on it. First check to see that the starter is mounted correctly (and all bolts are tight). If tight, and you can remove the starter, check the teeth on it for wear. If no wear is present, have the starter tested for the solenoid functionality. While the starter is removed, check the flywheel for a missing gear tooth or for obvious wear.

Okay so sometimes while I am accelerating, the gas pedal will suddenly stop responding and the car will begin to decelerate. After a few seconds I can begin accelerating again. I don't lose any power...

This could be a carburetor problem.
Open the bonnet and remove the air filter to get better access to the carburetor, check the throttle cables, is anything loosely connected or looks out of place?
move the throttle manually with your hand to get the feel of it, is it loose - tight - sticky or smooth?
check to see if the carburetor is tightly mounted, they do come loose from the housing and this let's additional air in possibly causing some of your symptoms.
This would also explain the idle issue.
check the choke cable too, check for kinks in all the cables or any obvious wearing.
change your fuel filter
check what fuel you should be running, octane ?
do you have a hand book for the car check that too
so just go through each thing, a process of elimination.
Once you have checked all the fuel system move onto your ignition system. Good luck

Wife driving her 2003 Tiburon and the engine light came on. Car checked the oil okay drove home with light on? Seems to be okay? Should we take to a dealer to have it checked?

Yes, oil level has nothing to do with the Check Engine light. Make sure the gas cap is on tight. If it was loose, just keep driving it will go off on its own in a few days. If its tight, there is another problem and a dealer or good repair shop can check it out for you. keep away from any chain store operation.

The car shiuts off during mid drive completly then starts back up after a few minutes. Beore it shuts off you can not accelerate then it shuts off and lose power steering

In this situation, we start with the easy solutions which is to check each fuse in the fuse box is installed tight. Also with the engine on, wiggle each fuse and see if it affects engine in any way. If it does the fuse may not be tight in its socket. Do the same with the relays located in underer the hood in a platic box at the driver's side. Make sure they are tight in their socket and wiggle them with the engine running. Do the same for any wiriing harness connections you see. Wear gloves, no jewelry, or loose clothing when you do this. If everything is okay, then it is most likely your fuel filter. You can do fuel pressure test to verify you are getting enough pressure.

To change the fuel filter, you will either have to disconnect the fuel pump relay or the fuel pump harness to depressurize the fuel system. Under the driver side door underneath the car, you will find the fuel pump clamped to the body. Remove the mouning blots and unscrew the clips from the fuel line. Keep note of the arrow direction and replace with a new fuel pump. Thanks for using Fixya.

Is it ok if the belt i get for my car is a bit tighter than the stock. i have upgraded alternator pulley so i got 1 but its really tight and the tensioner is all the way down holding the belt tight ......

It'll be fine....the only thing would be to check it often. A tighter belt will often wear a little quicker than a properly fitting one.....by the way, you want a belt that is tight rather than a loose one. The only problem having an extremely tight or overly tight belt is it can put undo wear on pulley bearings.

Hi:
I would suspect that the problem is your alternator belt is not tight enough. You can't judge it by just eyeballing it, as when the alternator needs to charge the battery or when you initially start the car, it has quite a load on it, and often slips for a bit if the belt isn't tightened to the proper amount. there is a tension guage that shops use, but you could tighten it up a bit and see if it helps, and go from there. too tight is bad too, as it can cause premature wear on the tensioner and alternator bearings.
