Fixya is not a political fact checking site or a blog. Its volunteers, separated geographically, do not have the independent resources to be such. Fixya offers repair advice and topical information about how to do something. Some other sites specialize in providing political analysis or fact checking. And such sites come under criticism from one side or the other. Snopes, Politifact and others check facts. Politico reviews some political matters. You will find a variety of news sites at www.hotsheet.com.
Here are some brief facts: 1) the public cannot predict whether impeachment will come about 2) the Republicans control both houses of government as well as the presidency. 3) The House impeaches, the Senate tries. So, even if the House voted to impeach, the President would then be tried by the Senate. For the president to be convicted therefore would require the majority of both houses to vote against him. Bear in mind, impeachment itself brings charges. It does not convict. That is voted on by the Senate. No president has even been convicted as a result of impeachment proceedings. Andrew Jackson came close, spared by a single vote. None of this is predictive, of course.
Hopefully he will before too long

SOURCE: Did Donald Trump ask for security clearance for his children.
He doesn't have to ask - it must be done as a result of his impending position and their accessibility to him. However, simply having a clearance does not establish a "need to know" and unless they are in need of specific classified information, they will not be allowed access to it.

for what? you cant impeach a president just because you dont like him.... no matter how many there are... most of those that dont like him just dont like him because they are uneducated and some form of mental disability...... we dont really listen to them anyway.
glad i could help.
Impeachment does not require criminal charges although as a pragmatic matter only criminal behavior is likely to yield bipartisan support for impeachment. And it is hard to charge a president with criminal violations while he is in office, perhaps impossible. At the end of the day, impeachment may occur because of suspected conduct for which a current president may not be formally charged because there is no other available option enabling much of an investigation. Impeachment looks increasingly likely but removal from office is not nearly as likely.
