How do I factory reset a panasonic Blu Ray player (DMP-BD60) without the remote?

My replacement remote N2QAYB000378 does not work with the player, which says "SET 2" every time I push a button. I've tried holding OK and 2 at the same time for more than 5 seconds. I've tried pressing and holding OK just before pressing and holding 2 and also vice versa. It seems to work for other people but it's not working for me. :(

If there are red and white RCA jacks on the back of the BR player and on the receiver you should be able to get sound. The same as your VHS.

SOURCE: Hi, i need to know

Hello,

unfortunately, there is no free region code for your
panasonic DMP BD60 Blu ray player.

Why don't you purchase a Panasonic Blu ray player that is region free, I mean a player that would play any/all discs irrespective of its region. There are such player around.

You can just go for that instead of looking for free region code that is not available.

Good luck.

SOURCE: I have a panasonic blu

Sorry, there is no specific code for it: the Comcast remote has been programmed way before the Panasonic was even designed, let alone issued.
Your only hope is to try first all the codes from Panasonic and if none work to do a full test scan on the remote - maybe you're lucky and the basic commands from another brand will match yours.

Need codes for all regions on Panasonic DMP-BD60

Hi, I don't think there are any codes, it has to be modified by inserting a chip, and unless you know about electronics or soldering, I would either find a friend or take it to a competent repair shop, because if it is done wrong , you will have a bricked dvd player.
Here is a link that shows you what to do.

Please read it carefully.

I think this is the only way.

I hope this helps you, let me know.

How do i get my Panasonic DMP-BD60 to work...it only turns on for a second and read hello then goes off???

Regarding the Panasonic DMP-BD60, I had the exact same problem, but I also had a disc stuck inside at the time. I called Panasonic tech support and this is what solved the problem for me.
Near the bottom of the remote control is a series of colored buttons marked R, G, B, & Y. Locate the OK button, and press it together with the B & Y buttons, hold for 10 seconds.
All of a sudden, my unit came back to life and everything is working fine. We are happy now.
