Go to this website and download the sonicstage software:
it's the only software that works with the network walkman when you are trying to put music on it

Loading sounds and keep getting unsupported file format

Try going to if what you have is a music recorder. You did not give us a clue as to what devices you have or what format your songs are that you are trying to load.. Many of the devices either have their native format or use MP3 or MIDI type data. WAV files usually are NOT accepted.

No data. can't play music.

how long have you been using the player?

I think the problem is from the lens (laser).

The lens is very weak such that it cannot read data from the disc.

You need to clean the lens with a cleaner and if it does not work, then it means you have to change the lens completely.

Take care.

Sansa keeps shutting off/ wont read memory disk

The issue you have described with your portable device in most cases can be resolved by formatting your device. Please follow these steps even if you have already attempted them once before.

Please note that this will remove all music from your device.

Formatting the device in Windows Media Player

1. Open Windows Media Player with your MP3 player connected to the computer

2. At the top of windows Media Player select the Sync tab at the top

3. The MP3 player should be recognized on the right hand side and say "Your Player Name"

4. Above the player name is a button that says "Format Storage Media" click this button to erase all the data from the player

5. Continue with the acknowledgement of erasing all data on disk.

Cannot load the music Data base.

Music Database refers to the information you see on the screen (i.e. Artist, Album, etc.) The device needs some free space in order to create this list.

The device is either too full, or the database is corrupt.

First, try connecting to your PC and deleting about 10 to 15 tracks. Restart the device and see if that helps.

If not, Try formatting the device thru My Computer>Device name (U10)>Right Click and select format.(this will erase everything on the device)

Best of Luck.

Try it this way, the below was copyed from an earlier post of mine. Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: L8R
