50 grams = how many cups

That depends on what you have 50 grams of. Cup is a measure of volume while gram is a measure of mass (or weight).

50 grams of water is about 0.21 cups. 50 grams of gold is about 0.016 cups.

Convert grams to cup

Sorry but you are comparing apples and oranges. A gram is a unit of weight. A cup is a unit of volume. A cup of lead pellets is heavier than a cup of water. So you have to stipulate what material you are weighing. ????

So Ask again but the question should read

Grams of ??????? to cups.

1 cup is to how many grams?

A cup is a measure of volume, but a gram is a measure of mass.

Depending on the density of the material you are going to have in the cup, the weight in grams of the material will vary. For example, if you fill the cup with lead, the cup will weigh much more than if you fill with feathers.
This question would be similar to asking how much does a 6 foot person weigh. It depends on the person of course. A cup of water will weigh more than a cup of flour.

Examples:

Granulated sugar: 1 cup = 200 grams
Brown sugar: 1 cup, packed = 220 grams
Sifted white flour: 1 cup = 125 grams
White rice, uncooked: 1 cup = 185 grams

Proper amount of coffee grounds for 36 cups

The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them!

The West Bend parts page for this model is here, and there's a link to download the manual. You can see what the manufacturer recommends.

I do coffee by weight. The ratio of 10 grams of coffee for 6 ounces of water seems most common if you look at coffee websites. Make a couple of cups worth, try different amounts, and then scale up to a full pot when you find what works best for you.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using Fixya!
