Brand new tv. Started setting up and pictured wrapped around tv. Cannot find picture settings and now have black screen with sound and responsive remote.
If its new return it where you bought, that is what a warranty is for or call the number in the manual for customer service

My shop had this problem yesterday. We had to change the DMD to correct it. One of the data lines was being drawn down intermitently. This doesn't eliminate the digital PCB, but, we have seen the DMD do this more than a digital. You should have an authorized shop do the repair. Most of the times this type of damage is due to panel overheating. This can occur due to many situations but most offten is due to internal mulfunction of some of the high power/voltage driving circuits. You can only hope that the dealer will replace the set under warranty. Do not settle with a repair.
