SOURCE: Washer leaves too much lint on clothes
There are many things that cause lint. Some are easy to figure out, some aren't. Here are some of the most common things: 1. Separate clothes that are lint givers from lint takers (i.e., sweaters are lint givers and should not be washed with cotton which attracts lint). 2. Check clothes pockets for tissues or paper. 3. Don't overload the machine. 4. Use enough detergent to hold the lint in suspension. Read the recommended usage on the detergent bottle. 5. Use enough water to rinse the lint away. Washing large loads on a water saver mode is not a good idea. 6. Use fabric softener to reduce static attraction of lint. 7. Washing clothes on too long of a cycle, too often can cause premature wearing of the the fabrics. I hope some of this may help you. PS Adding a cup of plain white vinegar to the rinse cycle has also been known as a "cure" for controlling lint.

linting is caused by a few things
firstly what sort of soap poweder do you use
i recomend good quality powder
do not wash clothes too long as what you are doing is rubbing all the fibres out of them
good quality washing powder only last about 6 minets in water and after that it looses its qualiteseg
the PH changes in the water
you may be using too little soap powder and this also depends on water quality eg too hard or soft water
is the water levels set corectly
do not mix washing
eg towels with jeans as the lint will come off onto jeans
try using delicate wash on different fabric as the adgitation is different on different cycles
try using warm wash and not cold machine is probable ok but wah times are important
good luck

try washing on a shorter time as this washer may have too good of wash action and the lint is fabric coming off your clothing
add more soap powder and do not buy the cheapest soap as the soap is important in the washing cycle of your machine
towels that are not too soiled brobably need 6 minutes at most on wash
if this machine has a delicate wash cycle use that for tee shirts etc
water pressure is important in rinse cycles
do you have high pressure and water only trickles in check water inlets on back of machine where the hoses screw on
good luck

It probably isn't the agitator. Are you sure that it is lint and not the clothes getting torn up? One thing you might want to try is this. First take and pull the basket to one side and clean the gasket on top of the basket. There may be gunk built up on it that is transferring to your clothes. After you do that, just like a coffee maker, put about a cup of white vinegar into the washer and run a wash on hot water. After the load wash again without the vinegar just to make sure it all gets out. This is a good way to keep the washer clean all the time too, do this maybe every 3 months or so. I will clean any hard water deposits built up on the hoses and such and you will notice you clothes coming out cleaner. You can do this with your dishwasher too. Let me know if you have any other questions and if this was helpful to you at all. Good luck and I am glad that I could help you out.
