Question about Ricoh Aficio 450 Copier

Cannot find confirmation page "on off switch" Ricoh Afico 2035esp

I selected the fax option as advised but within the four tabs of settings nothing appears to be clearly labeled a "conformation page". Could you directl me to which tab to look under, and if there is an "alias" for the confirmation page.

We'd prefer to only print a confirmation if the transmission fails.

The transmission confirmation report is enabled under the user parameters bit switches. The printing of the report is located at switch 3 bit .

You will find the instructions in your Facsimile Reference
<Advanced Features> users manual. Try looking up page 159.

User Tools/Fax/Parameter Settings. Personally I wouldn't mess with those, it's to easy to totally mess up the fax system if you flip the wrong bit switch setting. I threw my 450 programing guides away some time ago being that there's just a hand full of these things left in the hole country. I believe if you go to Ricoh's web site and go to the download page, you can download the fax user manual which if memory serves me (and it often doesn't), you'll find how to change the fax parameter settings.

one has nothing to do with the other.but to get rid of the cannot connect to dhcp gotouser toolson the top u will see a few tabs.. select the network tab.one of the options will be ip . select it and select specify.then press ok and exit user tools. that will get rid of the cannot connect error.but again it has nothing to do with the faxing

We have a Ricoh Aficio 3035 multi-function printer/scanner and fax machine. How do you change the settings so that a confirmation page doesn't print after every fax transmission?

i think its in the user\system menu, press the fax option and find the confirmation report it will be there somewhere.

How do I turn off the fax notification on a Ricoh Afico MP 3500

Most Ricoh multifunction printers have a set of parameter lists that control reports and journals. The parameters are set by using bit switches in the User Tools, and each machine has different switches to control different settings.

What kind of fax machine or printer do you have? The user manual has a list of all parameters and bit switches.

It's more complicated than it needs to be. You'll have to refer to the user manual under 'user parameters'. It's to difficult to explain here. But I can tell you that it is switch '3'......Bit '0' that needs to be changed. manual is here if you need it:

Press the User tools/counter button. Select the fax option. Locate confirmation page and turn it off.

Need to change fax number programmed in Ricoh, afico 3025

Press the User tools/counter button;
Touch the Facsimile features icon on the touch panel;
select Gen. settings/Adjust tab;
touch Program fax information;
touch Own fax number;
touch For G3-1, then enter your fax number from the blue numeric
keypad then touch OK.
Touch Exit, then press User tools/counter button to go to Standby mode.

Confirmation page

You can configure your HP all-in-one so that it automatically prints error and confirmation reports. If you need printed confirmation each time a fax is sent, follow these instructions before sending any faxes and select Send Only. To set automated report options from the control panel Press Setup. Press 2, and then press 1. This selects Print Report and then selects Fax Report Setup.

Press to scroll through the following report types: Every Error: prints whenever there is any kind of fax error (default). Send Error: prints whenever there is a transmission error. Receive Error: prints whenever there is a receiving error. Every Fax: confirms every time a fax is sent or received. Send Only: prints every time a fax is sent indicating whether the fax was successfully sent or not. Off: does not print any error or confirmation reports. Press OK to select the report.

i have read the manual end to end and I don't think you can.
Only thing I see is this.

Customizing your settings using the Lexmark Fax Solutions You can adjust the fax settings in the Lexmark Fax Solutions. These settings apply to the faxes you send or receive.

Click Start Programs Lexmark 7100 Series Lexmark Fax Solutions.
Click Adjust speed dial list and other fax settings.
Click each tab and change the settings as desired.
Press Save Settings after you finish your updates. Nothing is saved until you press this button.
Click Close.

The following table contains the Setup and Settings tabs for the Lexmark Fax Solutions.
On this tab
You can
Personalize

Enter your company name and fax number.

Enter your name, company name, phone number and address as you want them to appear your cover page.

Select a cover page for your fax.

Send

Choose to use error correction.

Choose to use fax header.

Select a maximum send speed and a print quality for outgoing faxes.

Choose whether to scan the entire document before dialing the number.

Select when to print a fax usage report.

Select when to print a fax activity report

Select when to print an activity report is the only close item I can find. Nothing whatsoever about a confirmation report.

Hi TUlsi The majority of fax machines will do this, I know as the ones i use in DHL are the same when i contacted the company Cannon they advised that it could not be disabled. Which give the solution, All faxes are different and you will only know how to disable it by contacting the manufactures support. I agree full it is anti enviromently friendly and a waste of ink
