If the machine has good compression, a spark and good clean fuel getting to the plug then it could well be the ignition timing is out,it is possible the flywheel key has sheared this will require removing the flywheel to check.

SOURCE: replacing pull string on Poulan BVM200VS leaf blower

You will need to split the housing and remove the impeller wheel. In doing this you will have to disconnect the throttle cable and the switch assy. This can be a hand full if you have never done one.

In the future when you are purchasing a string trimmer or blower

or hedge trimmer, be sure that the starter can be removed by

removing 4 screws. This makes starter repair a 5 minute $10 job

instead of an hour $40 or more job. The problem is that you will

not find this in most home centers or box stores. You will have to

go to a full service dealer.

SOURCE: fuel lines poulan bvm200vs gas blower

You need to split the entire unit to get to the fuel tank. Remove carb, remove exhaust, and remove right side of plastic enclosure. Check the cylinder to make sure it is tight, these units are notorious for the cylinder coming loose. Remove the tank and install your new fuel lines, leave them long then trim to fit once reassembled. Check to be sure the isolator mounts and starter rope ferrule are in place when reassembling

Poulan Pro blower BVM200vs won't start. No spark, changed coil, now I have spark, gas flow good. Tried grounding kill switch to engine & tried removing switch. Do magnets need 2 B indexed to shaft?

The flywheel should have a woodruff key on it, which fits in the groove on the crank shaft. This means the timing is pre set. When setting the timing gap, use a business card between the magnet on the flywheel and the ignition module, tighten them in that position and remove the card.

Is fuel getting into the cylinder and actually wetting the plug.?

Whats the compression rating of bvm200vs blower

6 or 7 to 1 I think. If you have a compression gauge see if it is around 90-105 psi.

I have a bvm200vs gas blower that will not start. I think I've tried a little of everything.

The bvm200's are famous for the piston ring sticking in the ring groove. You need to check the three basic components for the engine to start. Spark, Fuel, and Compression. This engine should have a minimum of 100 psi. Anything much less than that and you are asking for trouble.
