To change the time on a Sterling & Noble wall clock that does not have any dials on the back, you will need to follow these steps:
Locate the small, round hole on the back of the clock. This is the reset button.
Using a small object, such as a paperclip or a toothpick, press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds. This will reset the clock and allow you to set the time.
Release the reset button, and the minute hand will begin to move around the clock face. Use the reset button to advance the minute hand to the correct time.
Once the minute hand is set to the correct time, the hour hand will begin to move around the clock face. Use the reset button to advance the hour hand to the correct time.
Once the hour hand is set to the correct time, the clock will begin to run normally.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.
If your clock is flashing 12:00 then do this: Touch the + or - buttons whilst the display is flashing to adjust the time. The display stops flashing after 5 seconds and time is displayed. To adjust clock time : press mode button 4 times until clock symbol is displayed. Use + or - buttons to adjust time.
If your clock radio is more than two years years old it will be operating on the old changeover schedule, and there's no way that you can change the schedule. What you can do though, is turn the DST switch (if so equipped) to the OFF position and change the time manually. If yours is an "atomic" clock you can force the change by setting the clock to a different time zone. (I have an atomic clock that's set up on the old schedule. DST is OFF, and I change the zone between the Central and Eastern time zones.)
my Taylor 5851-21 has Hour Min Then under thatt Timer/Reset abd Start/Stop. How do I set the time. I know how to work the timer and reset the timer, but I need to set the clock. But it does not have a clock button label as you describe above.
-Make sure clock is in radio sync mode. This is in the manual so won't repeat here. -Press & release SELECT. Clock time numbers should flash -Press & hold SELECT. It should enter clock settings mode -Bottom of screen next to moon phase you should see the current time zone. PST after reset -UP & DOWN will move through time zones. -Press & release SELECT when done. -Each time SELECT is pressed will move to a new setting like 12/24 hour etc. -Press SELECT until clock numbers stop blinking or leave it alone to return to normal mode -This should also work on the other Oregon Scientific Starck models.
press set button repeatedly -you get timezone mode and change your wished time zone and select your zone then press set button to normal mode and adjust the current time.
thanking you.
I have a mantle clock version and to set the clock to recognize the radio signal, I need to hold down both the ET and PT time zone buttons for a few seconds. The clock hands will then continue to move until they reset themselves to the correct time.
