SOURCE: Hi, I've got a broken

Two of the spring-bars broke on the clasp of my PRS200, so I took it to an un-named watch repair shop that was closer than the Tissot-authorized store (Leslie Gold Watch Co.) at which I bought the item 5 years prior. After the repair, the clasp kept popping off, so I took it to the Tissot store, and they told me that it was because the ends of the bars didn't fit properly. They replaced the faulty bars for me at no cost, and the watch has been sitting on my wrist fine for the last year-and-a-half.

SOURCE: I have had my accutron

It could be that it needs cleaning. (When a watch is described as "automatic", it means that it is a mechanical spring driven type which needs to be worn constantly to keep it wound up; I assume that yours is one of these.)

Most makers recommend regular servicing at intervals of 2-3 years and as your is older than this, then perhaps it is time for a trip to their nearest service center.

Go to bulova.com to find your local service center.

Are there replacement bands

Yes, most watches have standard sized bands. There is something called a "lug measurement", which is the width of the strap end that fits onto the watch. It's usually in millimeters (mm), so it could be 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, and so on. You do not need to buy the same brand of band as the watch. The best place to find a new band for low prices is eBay and Amazon.

I need new band

If you need a new band for RADO watch, you can pop in any watch shop and choose whichever band you like. The only thing you have to remember is; get the right size. Right size for you watch is the size between lugs in millimetres. Lugs are the things where the band gets attached to the watch. Measure that distance - this is the size of band you are looking for.If you are after original Rado band, then you will have to pop into your nearest Rado dealer shop and order it. The real thing will be far more costly.

Need new watch strap rubber and metal , where can I order it from

mcdevito75 here, Ebay would be your best bet, or a flea market in your area. Or you can look for a small watch repair shop in your area. One thing, you"ll need to know the size of the watch lugs, this is where the strap/band attaches to the watch in milimeters, most rulers have a milimeter scale along with the usuall USA measureing scale, simply count the milimeters between the lugs to get your strap.band size in MM.

I need a leather band for my male cartier roadster

mcdevito75 here, Ebay is your best bet for the Leather band for your Cartier watch, but! you:ll need to know the MM size of the band. Measure the width of the band just as it hooks onto your watch, use a ruler, most rulers have both the MM scale and American, if your ruler has only the American mmeasurement use the online Standard to MM calculator for the MM size from the American or standard measurement. Carefully measure the width of the band just as it hooks onto the watch, count the segments in the ruler either each MM or each 16 th of an inch, convert to MM then look on ebay for the strap.

There are a lot of great looking after market steel bands. The selection will depend on the size and finish of the band. I suggest a watch repair shop that carries Spiedel or Bariloche. It will help to know the size of band needed. To determine that you will need ot measuer in between the lugs. The lugs are the two extensions coming from the case that connect the band to the case. I imagine it is 18mm.

I HAVE KC 3500 WATCH.MY BAND IS IN TERRIBLE CONDITION.

You do not need exactly the Kenneth Cole watch band. Measure the distance between watch case lugs - this will be the width of your new band. Go to any jewellers shop you like, ask them to show all watch bands of this size and choose whichever you like. Ask them to fit it as well if you do not fancy to do it yourself.
In case if you have a buckle with KC logo and want to keep it, then take it with you and ask to refit the buckle as well.

Rate me, please.

Need pin for band on Fossil Am 3754

Measure distance between the lugs of your watch. Find the nearest watchmaker and ask for spring lug of that size (this is if you need to attach band to watch).
If you need a pin for bracelet links- measure width of bracelet and ask for split pin of that size.

Skagen watch band issue

You can find generic bands on Ebay or do a Google search for mesh bands. They come in various widths usually in millimeters so you have to measure the width between the lugs where the band connects to the case of the watch. Do a Google search for nomenclature of what a lug is on a watch if you do not know what I mean.
