Re. Durabrand 2036 CD player/radio/tape recorder- the CD player catches every now and then (stops momentarily) and it is very noisy when trying to record, also not very loud now. What can be done?

SOURCE: Durabrand Tape/CD Player twists up all cassettes inserted

We have two of these with the same problem. The belt that drives the pick up reels is broken. We are trying to find a place to purchase new ones.
