While watching something the screen will go black and display roku on the screen. sound continues to play but no show

It is worth fixing but you have to replace the power supply. It is a fairly common problem with the Westinghouse units.

try reinstalling media player 11 and then install K-lite codec from http://filehippo.com/download_klite_codec_pack/
and still if the problem presist install VLC player its an subsitute to windows mediaplayer.
for further troubleshooting i need your computer details like modle,make,operating system.

yes - you pressed the cc button and selected text. if you turn off cc then it will go away.

SOURCE: Yellow screen, no picture, but sound is complete

i think maybe the video board...

Please check the sequence in which your warning light flashes.

I will tell you what might be the problem according to the fashing of warning light,
If,

Flashing repeatedly --- Improper voltage supply
Flashing once --- Malfunctioning of fan
Flashing twice ---excessive temperature
Flashing 3 time or more--other problem

When flashing occurs please remove the power cord from receptacle and inform your dealer about the flashing sequence.
