If the numbers are gone you may first clean the keyboard with (numbers and letters) with some humid peace of cloth with a bit of soap then clean excess, after dry you can buy some stick letters or write them with white permanent pen.
I find that, for those keyboards you just love, dry transfer lettering works best. Once applied, carefully paint a coat of clear nail polish over the lettering to keep it from wearing off quickly.

Adding to to Rocketman2K's advice; If there is a GoodWill or another similar charitable second hand store in your area, I have found them to be an excellent, yet inexpensive source for keyboards, mice, monitors, cables etc.
