My ps2 (the old one) is loading part of a game and gets stuck

Its loading and stopps the ps2 tries to load it put the loading bar on the screen stays put

i think your old games disc is white and golden and new is blue and low quailty disc ps2 lens does not support these disc or your ps2 lens is week thanks

For some reason my PSP2 has stoppped loading games, I get a loading screen that nevers load my games, had issues before but eventually the game would load (after some considerable time) but not now at all....

Try saving the files on the comp then restore it to the factory default settings. Then load the games again.

My ps2 will load games, but freezes-up when loading the mission. screen stays blank.

First try using a DVD lens cleaner on the unit and check the game disks for imperfections. If scratches use a scratch fix kit. If the problem still happens even with a new game then your DVD drive needs to be replaced or just buy a refurbished or new PS2. They are cheap now so why not get a new one. Good luck

My slimline ps2 will play dvds but when I put in shadow of the colossus the system acts like it is loading by the loading circle on the lower right side of screen then the screen stays black and the game...

Take a Q-Tip and do light circular motions on the laser eye.
Often the case, you may just need to take a soft cloth and clean your video game disc.
It's one of the two.

When i get to the loading screen on disk 2 it gets stuck on a black screen. i tried cleaning both the console and the disk but it still gets stuck on the black screen

Alot of the newer playstation console's won't read the old black or blue labels. Try getting it resurfaced. Cost you about $2 at the nearest game store.

GHWT(PS2) loading bar freezes when it is full

1. CLEAN THE LASER. ALWAYS DO THIS FIRST. MOST TIMES THIS IS ALL YOU NEED TO GET YOUR SYSTEM BACK RUNNING A 100% AGAIN

2. IF THE LASER CLEANING DON'T WORK ON YOUR PS2 SYSTEM PERFORMANCE THEN TRY ADJUSTING THE LASER VOTAGE.

3. IF THE LASER VOTAGE DON'T WORK YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE LASER $50-75 CALL FELTON (870) 733-1375

Controllers wont work on PS2

Im no tecnition but i would say its got to do with somthing in the RAM or on board memory because the loading screen is the only time that a ps2 would store information onit self rather than reading

probably got a Problem with you Laser...open the machine, clean the lens and see what happens...

i try and help 1st off u want to use a good lead like the ps2 scrat lead, the one that comes with the ps2 is rubbish. get a sract lead when u can.
