1. sitting in driver seat, with driver's door OPEN, press lock/unlock button ON THE DRIVERS DOOR to lock all doors, then manually unlock driver door only.
2. Insert YOUR key in ignition, DO NOT TURN, then remove key.
3. Using the same lock/unlock button ON THE DRIVERS DOOR, slowly press lock-unlock in 5 cycles
4. Shut door.
5. Open door.
6. Using the same lock/unlock button ON THE DRIVERS DOOR, again slowly press lock-unlock in 5 cycles
7. With the door open insert your key into the ignition, turn to 'on' position (DON'T START), wait 5 seconds. Turn off and remove key.
8. Locks should cycle once (Car will lock and then unlock once by herself). If they don't cycle or they cycle more than once, do steps 1-7 over.
9. Now using the remote, push lock button, hold for one second, then release the button. The locks should cycle once. If not, start over and go slower.
10. Close the door.
11. Open the door.
12. Press the lock button on the remote. The locks should do a lock-unlock cycle.
13. Close the door
14. Press the lock button on the remote, the doors should lock.
15. Press unlock button and the doors should unlock.

Factory reset will make it right. There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). Hi, why should you need to program an emerson its factory set. Thats why i buy with credit card, any problems the place is getting it back after 2 tries, there playing you or you dont know what your doing, leave it alone and have somone with you that has more expereince! If its under warranty put it in his truck and drive them both back to there junk shop! If you didnt buy with credit card next time, most cards back you up if you have problems. In this case it seems like your the problem, but i hope not, good luck, Frank

We would be happy to help. We currently do not have anycodes specifically for your Emerson TV/DVD combo unit, but we would recommend performing apower scan. If there is a code that is compatible with your TV, the power scanwill find it. Power scan instructions:

Step 1:
Press and hold the TV mode button until all mode button back lights illuminate,then release.

Step 2:
Press and release the Power button.

Step 3:
Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the TV. If the code for the TV comes up, the TV will turnoff.

Step 4:
Press the pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, themode light flashes three times.

After doing the power scan please remember to put the remote back into SAT mode.Thanks so much for being a valued DISH Network customer!
