What does cable go on tho use firestick?
The TV remote has a button for that. Input Select or Source or SEL. However simply turning off anything except the firestick should make it work. I presume the firestick came with a remote. Simply turning it off and on from that should do it. Make sure you can see the firestick when you press the buttons.

If you don't have necessary tools and can't replace the main board yourself, I would advice you to seek for an assistant of a qualified technician. Also, check if your unit is still under warranty/extended warranty
period, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Opening the

I'm assuming here that the cable reception is not the issue here(working fine on other tv) same as the DVD player and the HDMI cable. This is an indication of faulty Tuner and I/O circuitry in the main board. This is responsible for processing the inputs such as the cable signal, HDMI signals, etc, and feed to the Audio/Video IC which is in this board also. This board is repairable only at the Polaroid Service Centers because the IC's and other parts are surface mounted and quite sensitive to ESD. If you are going to DIY, I would advice you to replaced the entire main board rather than troubleshoot it because the cost is almost the same and this is more convenient for you. It will not require any soldering.

Are you sure that you are using an HDMI cable to connect your computer to the TV?
Many people use a VGA type cable connector to connect the two, which is the standard type of connector used between computers and monitors. If you are in fact using a VGA cable, then you will need to select VGA or PC on the TV's INPUT MODE SELECTOR in order to view the video signal from the computer.
Also be sure to hit the ENTER or SELECT or the RIGHT ARROW button when you scroll down and get to the input mode that you want to select from the menu options.

Lightning damage on LCD TV's can be a doozie. You really need to get it checked out by a qualified technician. I've repaired several TV's hit by lightning, most of the time the damage was limited to the power supply board. However, it is possible that multiple boards were damaged. If multiple boards were damaged, it's not worth repairing the set.
