I have an Intex Pure Spa set it up about 2 months ago everything has been fine a few days ago noticed the air was low. Went to try and add air and water comes out of the air valve is that normal? If so how do you add air do you have to drain the water?

SOURCE: 6 months old. Now no water will fill drum! Works as normal but no water!

I'll bet you have those new "flood safe" fill hoses. Get rid of them. Install normal, ordinary fill hoses and all will be well in the world.

SOURCE: Another flood. GE washer

The water sound is normal. There is a solution in the top of inner tub for balance. Is it overflowing...as in not stopping the fill cycle? If so check to make sure small hose is still attached to outer tu at bottom left front. This dome that it connects to can become filled with scum and causes the unit to not know that it's full. This causes flooding. You can try removing hose and cleaning out with thin wire. Sometime only fix is to replace outer tub. Again, this is only if overflowing!!
Another possibility is a bad break allowing outer tub to spin in agitation. This throws water up over sides of tub. Monitor unit when agitating to see if outer tub picks up speed and starts to spin. It is normal for it to index.

SOURCE: my spa won't blow bubbles but it will heat up. It

You opened the air valve??? Usually a round thingy on the edge of the tub.

I cant imagine how this would not work if it were open ... it works on the same idea as a carb on any gas engine. If the hole is open, the water stream will **** in air.

SOURCE: replaced heater failed within 2 months

If your filter is plugged causes the heater to work harder(overheat). Rus

E 97 Dry Fire Protection Can I run the filtration and the bubbles or jets to solve the problem?

E 97 is an error code that indicates a dry fire protection system has been activated in your Intex Pure SPA. This means that the spa has sensed that there is not enough water in the system, and it has automatically shut down the heater to prevent damage.
To solve this problem, you will need to add more water to the spa. Once the water level is above the minimum level required for safe operation, the dry fire protection system should reset itself automatically.
It is not recommended to run the filtration and the bubbles or jets without enough water in the system as it can cause damage to the pump and other components. Therefore, make sure to add enough water before turning on any functions of the spa.
Also, make sure to check for any other causes that may have led to the water level dropping too low, such as a leak or drainage issue. If you continue to experience issues, refer to the owner's manual or contact Intex customer support for further assistance.

Intex Pure Spa bubbles button does not work to inflate the tub....any ideas?

Answer is you are screwed. Same thing happened to me. Used it for 5 - 6 months in 2019, 5 - 6 months in 2020. Went to set it up in 2021 and the bubble air button crapped out - can't inflate it. Useless. Intex support told me I have to buy a whole new base (which is not actually available anymore because they discontinued it) and other adaptor parts for a total (with shipping) of close to $500. Since a) I only paid $350 for the whole thing, a $500 repaid seems excessive. Might as well buy a new one - but if I do it won't be Intex

How can i save money each month on my power bill. I have a intex x pure deluxe jet and bubbles 4 person spa. I use it every day almost..

Either insulate it or cover it. Also note, power companies surcharge energy use between 2PM and 6PM.
Rate is 3 times normal rate where I live. Turn it off during these hours.

Intex purespa displays current water temp but will not turn on or start filter/bubbles. Bought 1 mo ago: just set it up a week ago. Was working fine for 1 week. TrI'd unplug and reset. Any ideas??

is displayed temp less than 2 degrees than setpoint temperature ? its possible this situation will disallow the pump to go to high speed and the air infusers to work till spa heats back up , or can be a heater fault as well

I purchased an INtex 9 x 18 Rectangular Pool less than a month ago. Th "all in one system" works fine when you select the "FP" (Filter Pump) cycle. However when you switch to the "salt water system" cycle...

Service light is not fixable by the consumer
you will need to call intex
they will e-mail you a form fill it out and fax it back to them
you will have a new pump in a few days to your door
it must be under 2 years old and you must have a valid receipt

I just bought a saltwater system for my 12x39 pool a month ago did start up like book said and pool was fine for a month then the low salt light came on so i put 15 lbs of salt in per instructions kids...

you really should get test strips for salt. Get the kind that reads #'s
Get your pool to as close to 3000ppm as you can. any lower than 27000 and you do not generate enough chlorine any higher than 3600 will taste bad and could trigger high salt alarm 3000 is best

run filter only for a few hours before running generator the salt needs enough time to fully distribute through the pool
