Watching a video after downloading to the player

When I download a video to my FG200, it shows that it is on the player while connected to the PC. When taken off, it does not appear that the video is on there, and I can't find it. How do I download videos and watch them?

Videos downloaded directly from the internet may not work properly on the player. You have to first convert them into a format that is suitable to the player using Philips media converter. Download the Philips Media Converter software. Make sure corresponding Codec for playing videos is installed before downloading.
The codecs are required to play videos on your player. To download Codec, you can:
1. Go to www.download.com/windows
2. Search for "directshow codec pack"
3. Download and install one of the codec packs from the list of results

Now to download video, connect your player to the PC and click the icon "Internet video downloader" at your desktop. Open the website where your desired video clip locates. Move the cursor over the video you want to download until you see the Download icon. Double click on the icon to enable download.

After downloading, the Media Converter for Philips will then start to convert the video to the format that suits your player. If your player is connected to the PC, the video will be transferred to the player automatically.

First of all you have to Use latest version of Browser. Download Google Chrome from here.
Adobe flash Player is required to play YouTube .You may have older version So Download latest version from here...

How to download a video?

plug the player into your computer
open windows media player
add the video(s) that you want to download into the windows media player library.
click on the sync tab then drag the video onto the sync list on the right then click start sync.

I can't watch what i've downloaded from mininova. It downloads ok but I can't open and play it. Its a tv show

the tv show you've downloaded is not supported by your player,download total video converter,then convert it to mpeg file if you dont have divx player,storm kodec etc. that might work on it..

Hi. Just follow these instructions step by step and you should watch and listen everything with flash:
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLASH PLAYER 7 FOR POCKET PC

If you previously had Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC installed, do the following:

Uninstall Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC.
Remove the Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC installer from ActiveSync.
Restart your device.

Copy the Flash Player 7 for Pocket PC CAB file to your Pocket PC.
Double-click the CAB file to install Flash Player 7.

u cannot download videoclips directly to mp3 player.it does not support at all...all u can do is use converter by conver videoclips to mp3-which u can only hear song only...i prefer u to use imtoo decoder..

Turn off the unit and connect it to the computer.
The computer should recognize the player.
Run a program called Mpio Utility (Can be found on the CD or Mpio.com)
Select format & Config
That should do the trick.
