ur Schiller at 2 has problem with its battery. just replace the same. its a12v battery.
also clean the paper sensor Whit an ear bud (do not use any chemical use only ear bud). u can see the paper sensor on the side of printer head. a square black portion.
usually in AT-2 battery is located inside the machine. u have to pullout the top cover by removing the screws. be care full while pulling up the top cover, there are key pad connections running into the main board.on the right corner u can see the 12v battery.
Sometimes you can print out a report even though you are not connected to a patient. If a report prints out you will see "interpretation" on the top middle of the page. If interpretation is not there it most likely means you do not have interpretation. You could also call welch allyn and give them the serial number. They will be able to tell you.

Hello LV792727, Disconnect the AC & battery power and proceed with caution. Open the case to aquire access to the thermal print head. Clean the print head with a white eraser, the type used for cleaning ink prints not the #2 pencile eraser. Test the printing function. If necessariy use a Q-Tip with a light touch of Aceatone to whip the print head. The next step is replacing the printing element. Please inform me of the results. Good luck.
