SOURCE: Video Problems

Hello!

Maybe you need to install the correct driver of your video card. But first update your motherboard driver, if you have CD/DVD utilities enlclosed in your computer from the vendor then you should reinstall that in series installation. after that installation restart the system and then install the updated driver or the current CD/DVD utilities of your geforce 8600 GT and again restart the system after installation. and then set the monitor display to the required display of your games.

May this help, best regards, melnavz

SOURCE: When i open Cue Club in win7 (laptop model-acer

Check the in game options of the game itself. Somewhere in there should be a check box option allowing you to choose between full screen and windowed mode.

If there is no option, then find the shortcut to the game, and right click on it. Then click on properties. On the command line (that leads to the actual game file) go to the end and see if it has -window at the end of it. (might look like c:\program files\egames\cue.exe - window) if you see that window part (or win in some cases) then delete that and see if that helps.

My MSI U180 netbook resolution changed to 1024x768 after update and I cant see the lower part of my screen including taskbar. How can i revert to the original resolution ie.1024x600?

You do not say if you have tried to change the resolution yourself or what your OS is.
You can usually get to the resolution options by right clicking on a space on the desktop.
I have Windows 10 and right click > Display Settings and Resolution is right there.
You may have to Google for Earlier OS

Move task bar to bottom of page

The desktop screenshot might need reducing

Click start "Control Panel."

Click "Display" and then select the Settings tab in the Display Properties window.

Use the slider bar under in the screen resolution section of the applet to change the resolution and click "Apply."

The screen repaints at the new resolution.

Click "Yes" to keep the resolution, or answer "No" at the prompt to revert to the original settings.

The taskbar is a central user interface component within the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system.

Located along the bottom of the screen by default, it includes the "Start" button, provides one-click access to all open programs and contains a collection of utility icons and the system clock in a section called the Notification Area.

Windows 2000 gives you the ability to adjust the behavior of the taskbar in several ways.

After you know where to find the proper menu item, performing this task takes only a few clicks.

Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar and select "Properties."

Click the "General" tab located along the top of the resulting dialog box.

Check the Always on Top box if you want the taskbar to appear above all other items on your screen.

Check the Auto Hide box if you want the taskbar to disappear into the bottom of the screen when you move the cursor away from the taskbar.

Check the Show Small Icons in Start Menu box if you want to enable this behavior.

Check the Show Clock box to show the system clock within the Notification Area at the right edge of the taskbar.

Check the Personalized Menus box if you want the "Start" menu to show the items you use regularly and hide the items you don't.

Click "OK" to confirm your changes.

They take effect immediately.

Hope this helps

My display exceeds the screen dimensions. Icons, menus and taskbar are all out of the screen image. Please, what is the problem and how do I fix it?

In your display settings you set it to display larger than the maximum size of the monitor it supports. for a netbook. it is might be around 1024x576 depending on your model. it can also be 1024x600.. Go to your display settings in control panel and click on display or right click on your desktop and go to preferences. you can adjust your display settings there.

Windows 7 start bar disappearing

Hi there,
I see that you are having issues with your Taskbar/Startbar disappearing.
I believe that it is just a setting that we may need to change on your windows7.
right click on your taskbar to get the properties option mvincentc_1.png

click on the properties to see the next window settings
mvincentc_2.png

male sure that the auto hide is unchecked on this properties window, click on apply then OK this should set everything for your taskbar not to disappear anymore.
and one more thing right click on an open space on your taskbar this should give you other different options
mvincentc_3.png

then click on Lock taskbar to see below image
mvincentc_4.png
this should prevent changes to happen on your taskbar.
I hope this helps you, have a great day.

I cannot see the bottom part of my screen on my hp mini 110. How can I adjust the display? Am using windows 7

right click on the screen go to personalize then display settings and in that dialog box there should be an option to change screen resolution by the sounds of things you have the wrong ration so try different settings until it works.
If you are scared to change any of the settings don't worry a message comes up after the change to ask if you want to keep it that way, if you click nothing it reverts to the way it was.
