Sharper Image has recalled all Ionic Breeze Ionizers. This is what put Sharper Image into chapter 11.

If the warranty you are counting on is a Sharper Image Warranty I need to advise you that it was voided in the buyout on 30 May, 2008 when everything at Sharper Image was liquidated by Hilco Consumer Capital, Gordon Brothers, and Bluestar Alliance. If however it was a warranty company outside of Sharper Image you need to contact them.

You can purchase a bulb for the GP on ebay for under $11, which is really a good price considering what you would have paid from Sharper Image. Installation is easy, you just pull up on the tab on the bottom of the filter and pull up. When you are looking at the bulb, turn it 1/4 turn, (2 clicks) and pull it out. That is all there is to it. My professional series Ionic breeze GP blows out what seems to be clean air but the purple lights inside it are no longer working. Can anyone tell me where I can find replacement bulbs or just what I need to do to get it working again. I got it as a gift 4 or so years ago. The gift giver says there was a 5 year warranty on it but I am not sure. Any advice would be helpful.
