How do you reset the ribbon in a Brother 575 Fax.

It says replace or reset. I don't have a replacement.

You can rewind the ribbon. But the areas that has ben transferred from past fax's will be blank.

How do I reset the Ribbon?

you don't reset the ribbon .. you have to replace it. it is called a thermal ribbon part number is Brother PC-501, or PC501 you can get it at office max or office depot or staples or Precision Roller for about $28.00

It says ribbon needs to be replaced or reset can i just reset and still use that ribbon
