You can't ADD any more channels than the TV comes with, eg CH00-CH99. :)
However, I gather that you mean you want to tune unused channels to a station.
The quick way is to go to your menu, tuning, auto-tune.
This finds any strong enough TV signal from lowest frequency to highest frequency, plus some which may be too weak/snowy too view.
Once auto-tune is complete, a program starts showing.
It's now up to you to edit Channel Settings to re-arrange or delete in preferred order. Some sets allow renaming from eg CH-4 to 'TV1' or whatever your choice. Usually max 5 chars.

How can I add a channel on a vizio tv?
If you are using an Antenna, Coaxial cable from the wall or a cable/satellite box connected to the TV with a coaxial cable, you will need to do the following steps:
1. Press the INPUT button on your VIZIO remote to view your current input source. Ensure that the TV input is the input that is selected.
2. If the TV input is not selected, press the INPUT button on the remote until the TV or DTV input option is selected.
3. Press the Menu button on your VIZIO remote and select CHANNELS.
4. Select the option that says FIND CHANNELS.
5. Once the scan is completed it will say DONE. Press the OK button on the remote once. This will go back to the channels menu and then you can press the EXIT button to leave the menu.
6. Use the VIZIO remote to change your channels

I have two vizio tv's that have suddenly stopped picking up one channel. All other channels work. I use an outside antenna and rabbit ears for reception. Other tv's in the house work fine.
you may have to add that particular channel manually if it comes in unclear. You can do this from the menu.

I have older vizio tv that is picking up 12 of the 15 possible digital chanels, plug my newer vizio in and got all 15 chanels is there something I can do?
Try using the TV's on-screen menu to manually add the channels or run another auto-scan. If done manually and the TV has no reception on these channels, the best you can do is to purchase a digital antenna which will provide more channels to a poor built-in antenna.

Vizio tv dropped a channel, won't rescan
Try with the remote to direct enter the channel number (with the number buttons and or enter) If set makes it there go into menu for option to manually add it to the set memory.

Ch setup on a vizio tv.
( FOR VIZIO TV MODEL VO47L )
Press menu on the remote,
then go to the icon that says TV,
then press down on the remote to change,
"Tuner Mode" for Cable or Antenna.
"Auto Search" for auto search channels
"Skip Channels" for removing the unwanted channels.

Channel button on tv and remote control dosent work
The channel buttons on the tv and remote only navigate through the channels programed into the tv. You will need to go into set up and scan for channels or manually add channels you wish to receive.

Playing vcr causes new digital tv to lose saved channels
Vizio representative suggested connecting antenna directly to TV and not through the VCR. In doing this, we lose the ability to record on the VCR but we record elsewhere and watch downstairs. The problem is solved on losing channels. I must add that we watch and record on a Sharp digital TV upstairs and do not lose channels. I don't know why the VCR had this effect on this Vizio TV.

My Vizio D32f-F1 TV won't turn on. Any suggestions? The LED does not turn on or even blink. I opened it up and found no obvious visual problem or smell. I disconnected the two cables from the power board ADTVI1206XA7 and with AC coming to the board I found 12V at the 8-pin connector, but not 5V. I figured the power board was bad probably wrong and installed a replacement board, which did not change any of this. With the cables attached to the replacement power board, cycling the power switch on/off did not change anything--doesn't turn on, no LED/no blink.

Which board controls the volume of the M60-C3? I have a Vizio M60-C3 that occasionally has no sound. It does not matter if I use the internal TV speakers or the Sound Bar. When this happens, if I try to raise the volume, the the volume control scale displayed on the TV will start to rise but then go back down to zero. Almost as if I am competing against another remote lowering the volume while i am trying to raise the volume. After one or multiple reboots, the tv will work normally for a while.
