A wild guess here, change aspect ratio from auto to anything else and see, hope this helps.

SOURCE: No Power to TV

There is no reset button on these new sets, your set has complete power problem since you have no lights no clicks, this might have happen because of lightning or power surge, either one creates a lot of damage,if you are familiar with tv service you can check the main fuse,he should be close to where the power cord comes in,if you find the fuse blown it needs to be replaced with an exact replacement for AMPS rating and VOLTS rating as well as size,if the fuse is blown black we might have more problems ahead in the circuit and it will blow up again as sonn as you plug the tv back in,if it blows again it will need a more involved repair, the problem could be in the primary side of the power supply,if you are not too familiar you should seek the help of a servicer a least for an estimate but if you suspect power surge or lighting damage dont invest any more on this set and get a new one.

The only workarounds I have seen, are pull out pin number eight out on your scart lead, this will stop it auto switching, or alot of these wireless video senders block the auto switching features when connected up through the via the scarts.

Recheck all connections and try to get the TV on channel 3 or 4 especially if you have a cable or satellite box.

SOURCE: the sound is not working on my hisense tv

did you check in the screen sound set up menu if the speaker is set to off. if the settings is good, tried to hooked up a powered pc speaker at the audio out jack of the tv. if you can get sound there then the problem it could be the amplifier circuit. if you can not get sound the the cause will be the sound processor at the main board.

48" HISENSE SMART TV 2014 /I HAVE NO WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION ANYMORE

Check out your manual and look for the section regarding connecting to your home network. The tv set must detect the network for it to properly set up the connection after you give it the name and password to your account.. Check for the network working properly with your laptop or other device(s). If those units connect then the problem has to be with the wireless circuits of your tv.
Can also try resetting the set to factory condition and starting anew with the setup procedure. Also unplug the set while it is on - then while unplugged press in the "on" button on set for about thirty seconds. Then replug set and try again.

My picture was like 1380x640 but now its 680x480 and i cant play my xbox because the picture is messed up how do i change this... ive tried going into setting and nothing works..

Have you tried adjusting the aspect ratio by pressing the ZOOM button. There you can select Normal, Wide, Zoom, and Cinema modes. Normal mode: selects the aspect ratio that matches the source's aspect ratio.

If this doesn't work, try power-cycling the TV by turning it off, unplugging it & leaving it unplugged for a few minutes. Then plug it back in, turn it on. You can also restore factory default settings.

Press MENU.
Press LEFT or RIGHT to select SETUP, then press DOWN to open the SETUP menu.
Press UP or DOWN to select Restore Default, then press RIGHT or Enter.
When a message asks if you want to restore factory settings, select YES to restore the settings, or select NO to exit without restoring settings.

Tv not full screen

Check the aspect ratio of the input signal. If it is recorded wide, there is no hope.

Can't change the aspect ration from wide to normal on my hisense tv ltdn46v86us

You might have to enter its service mode options to adjust this fault. Actually entering in to service mode, and making data adjustments with it, is really a skilled work. Anyway, visit this site named'Electro-help'. Entering into service mode proceedings to many brand TVs are described in detail. Check it and determine whether you can do it by yourself or not. If you are not sure, do not get in to this mode, and make any adjustments there. Check this link, and select the site named above. Pull up older posts there.

The picture is outside the edges of the TV

It's probably an issue of the "Aspect" or the "Screen Mode" you're in. I'm no TV repair expert, but if you look in your Main Menu for "Screen Mode" or even your remote might have a button labeled "Asp" or "Aspect" or "Mode"....or even "Wide" (which when pressed repeatedly will cycle through the most common 4 screen modes = Wide, Screen Fit, Zoom, 4:3.) The last one refers to the ratio aspect, but depending on your TV, they could be named differently.
Given your description, it seems you're in "Zoom" mode, since it's cutting off the edges of the picture. Put it on a station like CNN, which has a streaming ticker at the bottom and cycle through the options you have until you find the one you prefer. (Note: you should also be able to set this in your Main Menu somewhere as your preferred view, but some shows and movies might come through as full screen or 'Letterbox' regardless of your preference.
One final observation I've found on several units is that the remote button that's in the bottom right-hand corner (which may not be labeled as such) is the default location for your aspect selections. Push it and see what happens.
Good luck!
