You should be able to locate the model of your remote on the back of the remote at the top, usually a two to three digit number with a decimal point. I will list here for you the best codes for our more popular models of remotes and also the instructions for addressing the remote to your RCA VCR. Instructions for addressing the remote to the VCR

  3. Press the POUND (#) button.

    If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.

Not all remote are compatible with all our receivers. Depending on the receiver and remote model numbers, if they are compatible you can readdress the remote to the receiver. I have provided a link for readdressing the remote to the receiver. I hope this helps.
