I have a 1.5 quart slow cooker SC-15, condition accept: the control knob for med, slow and high is cracked. it cannot not be used.

They are also badged to Black and Decker, but not available there.

Amazon has a knob. You can also just search 'slow cooker knobs', and look at the images tab.

Instructions for slow cookers are fairly generic.
I assume your control knob says "OFF", "LOW, "MED" and "HIGH".
If I were you I would just google recipes for crock pots.

You have three different kinds of speed turn the knob to low, med, or high and plug it in and it should work.

First turn to right is warm, then low, then high.

Try the hardware store. Look at the dimmer knobs.

Contact the manufacturer. They have replacement parts.

According to instruction book: To use Double bowls in the crock water must be used. Otherwise crock may overheat and crack.
1-Pour one quart of water into the crock. Prepare recipe according to instructions. Place food in the bowls.
2-Place both bowls into crock. Cover & cook.

To Use Double bowls in the base (without crock)
1-Prepare recipe according to instructions. Place food in bowls.
2-Place both bowls into the slow cooker base. Cover and set control knob to desired setting.

The auto mode means that the cooker will start off at high and then will switch to low after an alloted amount of time.

I need a lid and control knob for a Rival scv601. I can't find either on line and tried to call, but number given on crockpot wouldn't go through.
