My sony triniton when i turn it on only the sound comes on and no pic and the standby light timer is flashing is that why i have no pic? if it is how can i fix that

My Sony trinitron has the stero lite on steady and standby lite flashes four times then pauses and repeats. Can you tell me the circuit/condition causing the set to not turn on.
Sony Trinitron TV. Worked well last evening. Now picture won't go on. When power is turned on, standby/timer red light flashes, but picture or sound does not work.
