How do you change Mitsubishi Mr Slim remote from F to C?

Have you changed the batteries in the remote? If you have, has anyone spilled anything on the face of the remote?

If you put you phone on to camera mode. Hold the remote with the top facing the camera into the phone. Press on and off button on remote. If your remote is working. You should see a light come on through your mobile phone screen. If it is not. A new remote is required. I use a universal remote.
