Won't Charge This has been happening for a while now, whenever I plug my phone in to charge, it just doesn't. Weird thing is though, if I jostled it around for a few minutes, and had it plugged in at an extremely weird angle, it would. So I looked inside if the plug, and lo-and-behold, the connector is like jammed inside the phone and crooked. Now it won't charge at all. I figure the only solution is to just get the phone replaced, but I was wondering if I could go to any store and get it replaced, even if it isn't the store I originally purchased it at. I have it insured and all that jazz, and I haven't even had it a year yet, so that shouldn't be a problem. But is there some weird thing with like, if it's from a different area code then you need to get it replaced at a store in that area code?

    If I don't have the receipt can I still have it repaired? I am with my relatives right now and the receipt is 3 hours away.

    mine was the same till yesterday.....the whole thing came out of the socket where u put the plug into charge the phone.....i took out the plug and there it was....on the plug lookin like i just tore it out....







    what do i do????????

If you take your phone to any verizon wireless store they will replace it free of charge. You will lose your contacts, pictures, text messages and videos though. If you want to get your contacts back, you can back them up to "my account" on the verizon web site. If you buy a micro sd card, you can save your pix and flix to them so you don't lose any.

Not sure of the warranty laws in the US but if they are the same as Aus. then it will be repaired.
As long as you have a reciept from the store you purchased from and the fault is deamed a warranty fault.
Having said that I would deam it as physical damage and therefore not a warranty repair
which means you would be charged to have it fixed

Phone won't come on
my name is Larry and i have the exact same phone. If ur lg isnt turning on and wont charge it could be couple things . either the charging port on ur phone needs replaced and or ur charger has gone bad i would take it to a cell phone repair shop close to you.

It sounds like the charging port on your phone is broken. This could have happened a number of ways. Either by dropping your phone, putting the charger in wrong, or taking it out wrong. If you call HTC(866-449-8358) and it is still under warranty they will probably fix it for free as long as it doesn't have any water damage(http://www.ehow.com/how_4479971_check-cell-phone-water-damage.html). Otherwise you could also get a new phone.

My device won't charge
This situation sometimes occurs when the batteries get overcharged. Use the phone for a day and then attempt to charge. If it still won't charge, remove the battery for about a minute. Then re-install the battery and attempt to charge. If that doesn't clear the problem, you may need to get a new battery.

Won´t charge
My SLVR had the same problem, so I bought a new one from Amazon. When I plugged the new one in the first time it did fine, but when I ran the battery completely out, it wouldn't charge. I played around with it a little bit, and I think I've found a solution that works: try taking the SIM card out of the phone, THEN charge it. It works on both my new one and my old one that way. The drawback for you is that you can't use your phone while its charging, I just switch phones while the other is charging, a bit of a pain sometimes, but the SLVR is my favorite phone so its worth it. :-) Good Luck.
