Dirt devil featherlite shampooed, leaks heavily when filled and standing up right. Have used for years and only started to leak. Help.

Hi there! Check the clean water tank valve to see if that is where the leak is coming from. If so, your clean water tank will need to be replaced. If the leak is coming from somewhere else we recommend taking the cleaner in to a Dirt Devil authorized service center for repair. they do ok, but a dedicated wet/steam cleaner does better

the dirt devil featherlight has a automatic height adjustment for carpet and bare floors.check the wheels and see if there is something wrapped up around the wheels

it's pretty counter intuitive, try it the way you think it absolutely won't work! also when the belts start breaking I can help ya with that too. really the best thing to do would be to take it out and shoot it, or you could sell it to some unsuspecting victim like someone did to me!

My filter fell apart on my dirt devil featherlite CE6000. I have only used this 4 times.Where can I find one? I have looked at several stores.
