Unless you are 100% positive that the booster has been shot I recomend that you have it removed by a professional.

If the shell is discharged you can try using a ramrod to push it down a little bit and get it unstuck. If it hasn't discharged, be very careful. Through a little research I found that there is sometimes a problem getting it to go off, try removing all but the stuck shell (if possible) and smacking it a little harder to see if it just won't fire that one. No matter what, be very careful.

Simple take a wood screw and insert it in the spent shell. Gently apply downward pressure while turning the screw a partial thread in. Then use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull it out using the 476's casing as a leverage point. Just did this and worked well. Allen key and pocket knife ideas did not work as the shell is too tight in the chamber.
