I'm guessing you have wireless card installed on your desktop system?! If so , plug everything in to router and your desktop, then you will want to navigate to your internet site page , type in 192.168.1 the control box for your router should come up and you can set it up there, you may need to know if you are dynamic or not , this information can be gained from the company you receive your connection from, if it's a high speed connection , setting the router to default should be all you need to do . Then you'll want to restart your system and all should be well . If it requests a password , they are all at ( by default ) admin........most connections are dynamic these days but on the off chance it isn't don't forget to get static ip addresses from your provider..........then all laptops should see your router .I'm guessing you have wireless card installed on your desktop system?! You don't need a driver for router to set it up. You need to connect it with a cable to your computer, log into administration module with browser . Download D-Link browser toolbar from http://toolbar.aol.com/dlink/download.html
This will help you administer you router.
Do not forget to set wireless security.
Which is it? PC cant connect or not able to setup wireless? If the router came with a setup CD, run that from your pc... Make sure you have a crossover Cat5(ethernet) cable connected between the router and a PC just to set it up initially... within the router can enable or disable wireless function... But to really narrow your device down, i need to know the hardware revision number... its on the same label as the MAC address on the outside of your router
Access the configuration page of your router by default its 192.168.0.1, Login to the Dlink page by default the Username is Admin and Password is Blank and then reconfigure your router for Internet connection.

identify your revision. The links will take you to the drivers and install guides.
Note: The revision is located on the label on the bottom of the device next to H/W

Yes, you can connect the DI-624 to your exitsing EBR-2310, you just need to connect the a cable from port 4 of the EBR-2310 to the internet/wan port of the DI-624, then after that you can already use now the wireless to your laptop and also the wired router to your desktops.
But I may suggest you to just replace the EBR-2310 with the DI-624 so you will only be using 1 router that can cater your laptop and also your desktop, Just connect the cable from your modem that is conencted now to your EBR-2310 to the internet/wan port of the DI-624 then run the setup CD that should be it.
