On most machines, the outer knob on the handwheel needs to be turned counter-clockwise to disengage the needle during bobbin winding. Your machine may have a safety that prevents bobbin winding while the needle is engaged,.

SOURCE: Bobbin winder is in operation mode

Ive done that already, didnt change anything.
My husband figured it out... It turns out that the metal pin used to keep the bobbin in place while its spinning was stuck and wasnt out completly, making the machine think there was a bobbin on the winder even if there wasnt.

SOURCE: Thread is bunching underneath fabric

Needle in correct? Be sure your bobbin is not in upside down and turning the wrong way. Possibly the hook that the bobbicase fits in/on has been hit by a needle and caused a burr that is catching the thread as it comes around. The burr would have to be polished off or hook replaced. The machine could be slightly out of time also.

SOURCE: viking sewing machine 545 bobbin stuck on rewind

Most machines you slide the bobbin winder to the right to wind and then back to the left when your done to remove. Just making sure.... you did move it back to the left?

SOURCE: bobbin will not rewind

SE270D. Lift the bobbin and reposition, making sure it is down against the pin.

If this is not the problem, a Sidewinder Bobbin Winder (auxiliary bobbin winder sold with most sewing notions) is a lot cheaper than taking the machine in for service.

Is your button hole lever down? I had the same problem after sewing a button hole and couldn't figure out why I couldn't return to normal sewing. Once I raised the button hole lever the machine worked again.

Error stuck on rewinding bobbin ][

Question edited for clarity. It is a 'bobbin', not a 'bobbing'.
Is it E6, E7, E4, or is it E674? But the main problem, NO Make and Model. Just Google the Error code like this with make and model before it Margaret.

Can`t rewind bobbin

Sounds like it may be a bad solenoid or clutch inside. When it tries to reverse direction to rewind is sounds like it's getting stuck. The lights comming on might be an indication that the machine detects a problem. You could try to open it and see if any of the gears are broken or out of place or if any of the teeth on the gears are missing. But I would get it serviced if you're not comfortable with opening it up.

How do I get my machine to start sewing and stop beeping?

try rethreading the machine--use EVERY thread guide
make sure the needle is inserted up into the needle holder and turned the right direction
make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into the bobbin case and turned the right direction
clean under the needle plate and in the bobbin area for loose thread or lint
make sure thread has not come off the thread take up lever
also the jam could have caused the machine to jump time and needs a timing or a adjustment
